We Bleed - an original poem

We Bleed

A giant and ancient tree is raped from the forest, and so we begin to bleed.
A call from the woods sings out to us, but we ignore and stay in our four walls.
A bird pecks at our window and we pass it by without a second glance.
The streams begin to dry as we continue to drink.
The sky becomes hazed, but no one notices the fading stars.
A deer dances, inviting in peace as a shot echos through the trees.
And so we bleed.

We bleed the blood of our ancestors.
With it, the hope of today and the light of tomorrow.
Memories of our past embedded in our minds.
Our choices reflecting the world we know today.
The voices still, only mumbles through the rustling leaves.
And so we bleed.

A sky that bares no blue isn't what they wanted for you.
Our metropolises, bred of chaos and confusion.
Compassion for all life seems lost for our own convenience.
Connection to all creations and their celestial voices are barely heard.
And so we continue to bleed.

Remembering a loved one

In the front yard there is a large tree.

On hot days like today my dad would find the shade a blessing.

You could find him sitting there in the breeze watching the birds and listening to their song.

Today, similar to those hot summer days past, I felt his spirit under that very tree.

I placed some prayer flags there today to remind me of how short life is and why we should live in love for today.

Find the beauty of sacredness in all things.

The Gathering Time

In what appears to be a world gone mad, we begin the gathering. A conscious global gathering of mind & soul. A time to heal humanity and our great mother. The time has come to gather in the masses and set aside politics, religion and greed.

Tomorrow will not exist if we destroy it today. There is hope for a free world. Free of toxins and dis-ease, free of greed and manipulation, free of politics and propaganda. In the free world there is an understood and respectful connection to all life and creation.

The power of the masses that bring a message of universal love and kindness has been felt once before. They changed history, ended one of the biggest wars and shared their love for humanity and all creation. Some called it a movement, some say a lost era. While many feared these free spirits and so called 'radical thinkers', others joined the path of coexisting in peace.

Gather where your heart takes you. For some this may simply be your own home where you can meditate, relax and be comfortable. For others this may be the calling to pack your bags and follow your heart to walk your life path. Let it lead you to where you are supposed to be, but without any expectations. Simply allow yourself to go where your instinct or heart wants you to follow. Be open to all possibilities. Many of you will find yourselves ending up among nature, wanting to embrace her beauty and keep it sacred and free of harm.

Consider participating or creating local healing/prayer and energy raising meditations that are free of charge. Passing a 'magic hat' around for small donations to cover your expense is acceptable. Please do not charge folks to join a group meditation or healing ritual, as this defeats the energy flow and places the focus back to greed. Keep it free so you don't limit the possibilities of more folks who want to join in with their prayers, reiki and energy raising abilities.

When you gather in person, be considerate of all. Refrain from wearing perfumes or the use fabric softeners. They are not healthy for you, the earth or anyone breathing them, especially those with asthma and chemical sensitivities. Coexist with everyone, regardless of race, religion or sexual preference. We are all children of this universe. We breath the same air, drink the same water and bleed the same color of blood. We are family, all of us are brothers and sisters born on Mother Earth.

We are stardust, waiting to come together and unite to create a voice of one. So now we gather in honor of love, hope and kindness. Be humble to those you meet along the way for they may provide your next meal or a hot shower. Give when you can and only take what you need. Have gratitude.

Your gathering should be positive and not focused on negative aspects. Most of us are fully aware of the oil spill in the Gulf, the Volcano in Iceland, Riots in Brazil, the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan and the many issues with border control and domination around the world. Let us not focus in the depths of the dark, but surround it with love and light. Use the law of attraction to manifest a bright, beautiful and healthy planet for all creatures to coexist. Use the power of prayer and give thanks and bless the oceans and streams to be clean. Allow the Reiki to flow through your body and heal the air, river and ground.

Attend or hold your own drum circle and pound to the universal heart beat. Let your body move to the wind and sounds of the drums and bells. Dance freely so your spirit can raise your energy higher and higher. Honor the elements and give thanks to the sky, the sun and moon. Thank the trees for providing clean air and bless your meal for allowing you not to not go hungry.

Gather where your heart desires. Be open to those around you and ask for their time to meditate of participate in a global healing ceremony. Be kind to the environment on the way. Use only renewable materials when gathering. Please refrain from using styrofoam, plastics or other non-biodegradable materials. Use only recyclable or recycled items or use regular dishes that you can wash after your gathering is held. Don't hesitate to ask attendees to bring a covered dish or food item if they can. This may not be applicable in all situations.

I am currently working on writing a few meditations/visualizations that can be done when gathering. These will be added within the next couple of days or sooner. In the mean time, connect with the elements and Earth. Be an empathic and feel her pain, then you will feel the obligation as caretakers of this amazing planet to tend to her needs. Search my archives for several meditations that I have already written for energy raising and self healing. You can apply many of the same techniques or adapt your own.

Lilac Tonic: How to make + rituals and meditations

Here in central and northern Ohio, the Lilac bushes and trees are in full bloom. The scent is superb and has many benefits and properties. There are a few things you can do with Lilac flowers around the house for blessings, rituals, meditations and cleansing.

Having the cut flowers around the house offers a fresh scent that is a natural relaxant. The essence of the Lilac flower has been used for thousands of years to align the chakras. When outside, simply close your eyes, smell the flowers and do a short visualization to align your chakras. Breath deeply and visualize pure white energy being inhaled and flowing throughout every vein and depth of your body.

Lilac is known to be one of the strongest flowers directly connected to Gaia, our mother. Gaia power is strong with love and motherly affection. If you feel your loss of connection with the great mother, then Lilac Magic is for you. I highly recommend everyone use this tonic to connect more with Gaia, be aware of the current state and open yourself up so she may show you a path of enlightenment.

Below I will give you the details on how to make a Lilac Tonic for many purposes and uses. You can bathe in it, splash it on your face each morning, anoint with its properties, use for blessings or rituals, sprinkle on your garden to receive a blessing from Gaia and so many other uses.

What you'll need:

A large glass or wood bowl
Several bunches of Lilac flowers
Hot, near boiling water
Screen, cheese cloth or other fine strainer
plastic wrap
jars
glass measuring cup

Place your cut flowers in a large glass or wood bowl.

Pour near boiling water over flowers.

Make sure you have your plastic wrap ready.

Immediately place plastic wrap over the bowl to contain the steam from being released.

Allow flowers to steep overnight. Give them at least 8 to 12 hours before lifting the plastic wrap.

After the flowers have steeped for at least 8 hours, they will be ready for straining. You should have a beautiful amber or golden water. Note that you will not have much scent left to the flowers at this point, but the elemental and metaphysical properties remain in the water.

Before you begin straining, say a prayer or blessing over the water. I practiced Reiki over my water and I also asked the angels, guides and ancestors to place their prayers of well being, growth, love, abundance and compassion into this sacred water.

I then began to strain the water using a glass measuring cup and small screen strainer. A cheesecloth will work well too. Make sure you strain all the liquid off the flowers and place in a bowl or container that can easily fill jars.

This is my end result. I now have three decent sized jars or containers filled with this sacred tonic. Remember, you have lost most of the scent by now, but still retain the properties of the flower. **Store jars in your refrigerator. Do not drink. Note: To preserve for an extended amount of time, add a tablespoon of Witch Hazel to every 20 ounces.

Below I have written a few deeds and practices I will use my Lilac Tonic in or with. Feel free to use these or make your own!

Connecting with the great mother, Giai:

This should be done outside, in the elements of nature. Take approx. 1/2 a cup of the Lilac Tonic outside. Find a decent sized tree and stand as close to it as you can. Place your power hand (the hand you use most) on the tree. Make sure you have bare feet and your feet are pointed towards the trunk of the tree. If you can touch your toes to the trunk or roots of the tree, even better. Raise the water towards the sky and speak the following aloud: Thank you Mother for the beautiful sky, the songs of nature and the green grass that grows high. I have heard your cry and I've come to comfort you. Thank you for your unconditional love. Begin to slowly pour the water over your toes and feet and the trunk and roots of the tree. Feel the water flow across and through your toes, and see how it is also connecting with the trunk and roots of the tree. As you feel the water touch the souls of your feet, know that it is also touching the very core of your being and that of the tree and its roots. Close your eyes and visualize a glow of pure white light glowing around the two of you. This is your auras connecting as one. You have now reaffirmed your connection with Mother Earth. You will begin to feel her presence stronger each and every day. Your awareness level raised and your heart fonder of her sacred songs. After this ritual, feel free to sit with the tree and meditate. Visit a stream and notice the stronger connection you fell with the flowing water.

Blessed Garden

Our Mother Earth is the soil beneath us, the air we breath, the trees that shade and the rivers that run deep. Your garden is planted in the heart of our sacred mother. Thank her for allowing us the benefits of using her soil to provide our families with food and nourishment. Before or right after you have planted your garden (but after the soil is ready), take a 1/2 cup or more of Lilac Tonic and place in a bowl. Search your yard for a small downed limb or piece of wood. It must voluntarily come from a tree. If no small limbs or twigs are around, find an oblong piece of rock. Dip the twig or rock into the bowl of Lilac water and splash the water onto the soil. You are anointing the soil/earth with the love of Mother Earth. Say the following as you make your way through and around the garden: Thank you guardians of the green. Bless our garden with abundance, heath and nourishment. May the soil be loving and kind and the rain come and go when needed. As above it is below, allow the peace and love to grow.

Bath Tonic

Place a cup or more of the Lilac water into your bath water while it is running and filling the tub. You'll notice a faint aroma in the warm water that will relax your body and allow you to ease some of your stress. The added properties of the Lilac water will give your skin a soft and smooth feeling after soaking. When using the bath tonic, you can connect in your minds eye with the oceans and flowing water, plus the flowers of the Lilac tree. Close your eyes while in the bath and visualize the beauty of a river running into the ocean. Connect how the Lilac tree needs the water in her roots to create her beautiful flowers and scent. Now imagine yourself floating in this sacred water, connected to it and the tree. See how the tree moves in the wind and raises her leaves to the sun light. Know you are part of this and connect yourself with the elements of nature.

House Protection

Ask Giai to be kind to your home. Take a cup or so of the Lilac water and in a similar fashion to the Blessed Garden #2, anoint around your home. Literally walk around the outside of your home, starting with the North side. Sprinkle the sacred Lilac water around the home in a circle matter. When you get to each direction, acknowledge it (the directions) aloud and say "Thank you". Then request it's protection from the rain, snow, wind and storms. No, this doesn't mean it will never rain or storm or snow on your home or property. You are simply asking Nature to be and gentle to the foundation of your home and its roof, windows, etc.

Leaf Reading with the Fairies

This is a little more ancient practice that was received from my guides. It uses a bit of Fairy magic and resembles some forms of scrying. You'll need a large bowl, but shallow bowl and 6 leaves from a Lilac tree. The leaves should be bright green and healthy. Your environment should be as quiet as possible, with the sounds of nature excluded of course. If your area is noisy or you have to much background noise, place a relaxation or meditation CD in your player. Again, the sounds of nature would be best. Place your bowl on a table or alter. This can be done outside or inside. Place at least 4 to 6 cups of Lilac water into the large but shallow bowl. Put your hands about two inches above your bowl with the palms down. Extend your thumbs away from your hands and then touch your thumbs and index fingers together. This will give you a triangle or pyramid shape within your hands (index finger & thumb). Clockwise (to the right) make a spiral with your hands. You'll be moving them in a circle motion around the bowl over and over. Visualize thousands of little bright white specs or fairy dust falling from the sky and streaming through this pyramid that you have created. It then goes through the pyramid and into the Lilac water. Continue to visualize this till you have the bowl, water, your hands, table and your entire self totally surrounded by this beautiful pixie dust that sparkles. Open your eyes and take the 6 leaves of the Lilac tree and drop in the bowl. Stay at least 6 to 8 inches away from the bowl when dropping them. After all the leaves have fell take your power hand and use your index finger to touch the water in the center of the bowl. You may ask a specific question or simply request general guidance.

Here is how to read your leaves:

All leaves floating in a circular motion to the right (clockwise); What you are seeking or asking is in the right direction. Good things are to come with this situation or manifestation. Take time to reaffirm and manifest your dreams and your wisdom will expand.

All leaves floating to the left (counter clockwise); You may want to rethink current or upcoming decisions and circumstances. Things don't always work out the way we want them or see fit. Sometimes the universe has bigger and grander ideas. It's best for now to either go along with the natural flow of things or leave what is alone. Make the best of things and try something different.

Leaves divided and floating on each side of bowl; Decisions are hard and sometimes we do make the wrong ones. Take advice from the elemental world and look further within yourself. Take time to soul search and connect with the memories of your ancestors. You will find what you seek when the time is right for you.

All leaves bunched together in the middle staying stationary; Have more faith and don't don't keep your expectations so low. Seeing isn't always believing. There is so much you can't always see with your eyes but your heart and mind know the way. Let them guide you through this journey and make time to connect with nature and your surroundings. Your overall and energy and balance feels low and a bit off. You could use some nurturing for your soul.

All leaves bunched together in the middle and rotating; The fairies are here to assist you. You often question yourself to much, when the answer was right in front of you the whole time. Listen to your instincts. Remember the days of your child hood when imagination was as real as your work is today. Place yourself back in that state of being and begin to open the doorways once again. If you see a flutter fly by, it must be the fairies reminding you they are here. Use that imagination that was so strong, not so long ago.

All leaves touch the bowls edge, creating a 6 pointed star like shape stationary; You seek a sacred silence and state of being that many would not understand. Your connection to the elemental world is great and your actions and awareness are appreciated. Place yourself in nature as often as possible and your thoughts will soon begin to be your own answers. Pay attention to detail in the smallest things life has to offer and soon you will see what you've been waiting for.

All leaves touching edge of bowl and creating a 6 pointed star like shape while rotating; You have received the most powerful of message from the Fairy realm and their kind. You are asked to walk in both our realm and theirs. You may or may not see their dimensional state, but you will feel their presence in the beauty of small things in nature that others would never notice. You have begun or will begin to notice how certain shapes in the sacred woods resemble fairy and fantasy like homes and habitats. You'll become more ware of the energy flow and vibrational waves from the plant life, water and air you breath. The ripples in streams will seem more noticeable, rocks will have more depth and character and you will begin to see more and more with your third eye or minds eye. If you receive this reading more than once then your path is wise and you are asked to continue your ways and offer your stories of the magical realm to others.

Bringers of the new dawn

It's hard not to focus on all the negative aspects of the current reality and state of our great planet that we call, Momma Earth. The media fills our head with what seems like only the bad news instead of any good. Is there any good left?

We hear about the bombs falling, innocent lives destroyed. We read and watch the news and feel for those faced with devastating earth quakes, smoke and ash from volcanic activity and oil spills in the heart of our mother. An entire coastline now contaminated and no fishing allowed. Dead turtles, birds and fish placed in plastic bags to be carried off as waste. Families halted in unfamiliar land while rumbling mountains and a blackened sky keep them from coming home. Houses and life as we know it crumbling and falling while the ground below shakes violently. Our once majestic rivers and streams begin to fade and dry from human made dams and landscape piping. When will the greed stop? When will you, the average person, realize that you have an impact and can make a change?

I'm by far not ignoring the catastrophic events that have been taking place. As a human being, a care taker of this planet, I find it our responsibility to do something, and do it now. Science has proven that the power of positive manifestation, meditation and prayer have grand effects on water. Remember what science and nature have shown us with the water crystals and the effects that positive and negative words, actions and thoughts have on them. The earth is made up of 70% water, and we are made of the exact same percentage. We know the capabilities of prayer and positive manifestation. We've seen the benefits from Monks blessing the water and from prayer over the areas of dis-ease or crime.

All life and creation are sacred. We all share the same mother, breath the same air, we drink the same water and we bleed the same color. There is no difference and we do not have dominion over these creatures. They are our universal brothers and sisters. We've done them so much wrong and harm in the past and now is our chance to begin the healing. We are one in this journey with our mother.

I am and will continue sending out lots of healing energy & love to the world. Remember, we are the light workers, the care takers and the bringers of hope for this planet and her state of well being. We must do everything within our power, both physically, spiritually and environmentally. I've been doing outside meditations, lots of tree hugging and loving that connects to all other trees and plant life. I've been blessing the streams and water (all water connects to the ocean). It's what I feel I was placed here to do. Without these scared elements, the human race will not survive. We will cause our very own extinction if we choose ignore the current state and no nothing. We can not continue with the harm we have been doing. It is time for a new era, a new way of thinking and a new way of living that restores the great balance our native ancestors speak of.

Raise your energies as high as you can for global love & healing. Bless the rivers and streams, love & nurture the trees, meditate for yourself and the world as a whole entity. Detach from the media outlets and focus on the end results of the awareness these events are causing. To every disaster there is a blessing and to every life there is death. We have the balance and power within ourselves to do so much, yet so many do so little. Follow your heart for your home, for your love of life and your own family. Our very livelihood and the future of generations to come is at risk. The time to get back to basics and doing no harm is now.

It does not matter your religion or faith and all politics should be set aside. They do not play a role in the healing of our mother, you and I play that vital role. We can not depend on others to fix the wrongs, but we must depend on our self and our inner guidance. We can be the answer to our own prayers. It's a choice that you were given they day you were born into this beautiful world. You still have that choice if you choose to acknowledge and use it.

Gather groups in your current locations for global healing. Hold mass prayer sessions and drum circles. Keep your focus on the end result you wish to see for the planet and humanity as a whole. The awareness is being raised already with so many natural and man made events taking place right now.

My ancestors say that if we do not change and awaken from this sleep that our skies will turn red, our rivers dry and the animals will run to the deepest parts of the forest. They say we will smell the rotting death across the land and the dust so thick that one will not be able to see the sky. The trees are the hair of our mother, the water and oil are her veins and blood and the land is her beautiful body.

Love thy mother and here her cries so that we may bring her hope and love. We are one in this healing. There can be no separation, it is a global awareness that affects each and every one of us.

There is hope for tomorrow if you allow it. Choose the world you wish to walk in, do not place walls within your world that divide you from all of humanity. Your politics or religions should all be set aside so we can work as a family, one large entity and caretaker of this great planet we live on. No one person is more special or favored becasue of who they voted for or what they believe in or what faith they choose to follow. We are all created equal, we are all children of the universe and we are all star dust under the most powerful of microscopes. Love and treat yourself, your neighbor and all of creation with gratitude, kindness and compassion. It's time we left the fear behind, it's time to stop allowing politics and government (past and present) to have control over our mother's elements and her blood supply. It's also time to stop religion from granting us a false dominion over this home. The time to do no harm is now, the time to love all creation as equal is now. The time to set all religion, politics and personal opinions aside is now. Let the healing of our mother begin!

Head this advice and do as you wish. The choice is always yours. Be in the light and love creation, or continue to turn your eyes in the back of your skull. Let go of greed and capitalism and walk a path of enlightenment, love, kindness and compassion. Feel humility so you may understand gratitude and then embrace it. This land, our home, is so very sacred to all life and creation.

We are the bringers of the new dawn and we are here to encourage others to open their hearts and minds for the healing.

Homemade Winter Suet for Birds

Homemade Winter Suet for Birds

A couple of weeks a go I started saving my leftover grease anytime we fried meat. When the meat was finished cooking, I'd strain the meat and place the drippings in a glass mason jar. I did this because I knew I could make some great homemade suet for the Downy Woodpeckers and other birds on the property. All I had to do was get about a cups worth of grease/meat drippings and add a couple cups of bird seed. Mix them together and place in saved backings from store bought suet.

Homemade Winter Suet Recipe:

1 Cup Grease/Meat Drippings (beef and bacon work the best)
2 Cups of Mixed Birdseed
2 Leftover Suet backings (or other small, square container)

Save your grease drippings till you have approx. 1 cup of solid grease. Place mason jar of drippings in microwave for 20 seconds and pour in a bowl. Add 2 cups of birdseed mix and stir well. Place mixture in leftover suet packages that you previously bought and used from the store or find a small , rectangular plastic container. Place suet in freezer or garage if it is winter out. Keep it someplace cold so the grease doesn't melt. Use when solid.

Birds love the high energy they get from the meat drippings. In the winter time it can sometimes be hard to find worms and other insects that provide them with nutrition. This is an excellent alternative for them and a great way for you to recycle and reuse your leftover suet backings from the store and your grease drippings!

Making Contact with your Guardian Angel & Spirit Guides

I wanted to write this a bit earlier but I unexpectedly came down with a nasty flu bug that seems to still be taking a bit of a tole on my body. Hopefully I'll be back up and running on full once more. :-) Losing 10 pounds in 3 days from being sick to your stomach can be a bit scary for someone like me with my past. Now I call upon my spiritual guides and guardian angels because this is a time of need.

I am about to share with you sacred and ancient information passed down to me by my ancestral memories and experiences. I've been given the 'ok' to pass the information from my guides to anyone who has open eyes and ears.

We all have guides around us. Some come in form of angelic looking beings with giant wings, others come to us as a protector or spirit animal. They come in many shapes and forms and all are here to guide and protect us, to help us when in need and to assist us when called upon. Regardless of faith or religion, we are all highly spiritual beings, so are our angels and guides. Almost all religions around the world recognize that we have some form of guardian angel, spirit guide or animal totem.

Your guardian angel can help you when you feel depressed, lonely or in need of emotional support. They can also help inspire you at difficult times. Sometimes you may receive new insight from their support and comfort. Nothing is too large or considered trivial when asking their advice for guidance.

Let's begin the teachings to contact and feel your guardian angel and spirit guide:

For starters you must become receptive in many ways. This first way is to rid yourself of any negative thoughts. This isn't hard to do and I'm not asking you to do it all day, everyday. Though you would be amazed how you would feel if you never focused or gave thought to those. If you feel surrounded by negative emotions like fear, hurt or anger, you must let go of these before we can continue. These emotions create a barrier around your aura like a hard shell. It then becomes harder for you to break free or allow the love and energy from others to come in. It is also difficult for your guardian angel to reach you if you have such walls up. Surround yourself in thoughts of things or memories that make you happy and bring a smile to your face. Often if we think of our childhood or reams we had of flying, this will help. Sometimes larger measures are taken, like a meditation shower or bath, a soul/spirit cleansing ritual or something else along those lines. I highly recommend doing a personal 'Sacred Space' cleansing of your self and aura before you start.

When you have become receptive as I described above you can move on to the next step in contacting your angel or spirit guide. You must have a peaceful and personal place environment. This can be a small place in your home, a corner of a room, near a window, in your bed room or for some, the bathroom it's self. You need to create a space where you are comfortable, where it is extremely quiet. Many of my Witch friends have already have an alter set up that provides them with a spot for meditation and magical work. This is a perfect spot for contacting your angels and spirit guides. Adorn your peaceful area is with candles, flowers, seasonal items, lovely pictures and items that resinate with you and your spirituality. The items should help you create a positive mood. No items that have negative residual energy or bring you negative memories should be used in this area. If your home and property provide complete silence then I suggest you don't use music. However, there are many that hear the delightful noise of neighbors, machinery in the background or traffic in the distance. You want to separate yourself for the time being from those distractions and unnatural noises. Place some music around you that is based around nature. Find some beautiful waves splashing, frogs croaking or some native drumming is always good! It must be light, nothing that will bring distractions or that you would want to start singing along to. The music is simply to get your spirit ready and relaxed.

Now we have created your mood and your sacred space. Once both of these are done, you will already begin to feel more approachable by your guides. You'll also begin to feel your energy shifting in a more positive direction. You may even begin to feel physically lighter.

The next step is to ready yourself inside you space. Sit in your sacred space, do not stand. You may sit directly on the floor or use a chair. If you use a chair be sure to sit up straight with your feet and legs uncrossed, unless this is a large comfortable chair and you want to sit in a Yoga or 'Indian' style. Now it is time to close your eyes and keep them closed until the later time. Place your palms upwards and relax your arms on your legs. You will begin to breathe in through your nose, taking deep breaths and exhaling out your mouth. Silently count to three when inhaling and exhale for a count of six. Continue to do this at least for 2 to 5 minutes. You must feel your body begin to relax. As you are doing this, silently in your mind count your blessings and make a gratitude list. Think good thoughts about those you love and share your life with. In your mind think of things that make you grateful to be alive. While you continue to breathe in and exhale make sure your thoughts stay in the mode of joy, love and gratitude. If the beach makes you happy, then focus on yourself being their in your mind, even if you have never gone their in the physical. These thoughts you are thinking at this time should be pure and allow you to draw your angel near with the love that your aura is beginning to shine.

The next step is to continue to breathe as you were above but this time we are going to do a visualization with your breathing. When you inhale through your nose (for a count of three, minimal) imagine you are inhaling specs of gold that look like angel dust or fairy magic. This delicate gold 'star dust' must be breathed in and absorbed into your soul. As you continue to breathe, visualize this sparkly dust or energy particles beginning to swirl around your feet. The more you relax and breathe the more the golden energy surrounds your aura. Visualize the gold particles creating the sacred shape of an egg around your aura and body. Continue to breath in the particles and allow a golden light to become one with them. As you visualize and breathe, your egg and aura will begin to glow brighter and brighter until they are one in the same. If you begin to feel a tingle throughout your body, this is normal and you are feeling your energy flow. Some call this the ancient Chi or life force in us. It is easier for your angelic guide to come to you when you can feel your golden aura and have achieved a peaceful state of mind.

Continue to sit in your sacred space with your golden aura surrounding you. The little particles or dust like specs still swirling all about, never standing still, but creating this perfect egg shaped golden aura. You are safe now. Know you are safe, know you are loved.

Aloud or in your mind , ask your guardian angel to step inside your aura and gently touch you. Continue to breath and with your eyes still closed be open to any physical sensations, a touch on the face a brush of your skin, the hairs raised on the back of your neck. You may smell a sweet fragrance of flowers or something else that is delightful. You may feel warmth and your guide may place their wings around you. Sometimes the first contact is small and my only be felt as air across your cheek. You must trust that your angel has responded to you and is very close. Continue to keep your eyes closed and your golden aura going. Know your angel is inside your aura with you and mentally or aloud say "thank you". Sometimes after we give thanks they feel acknowledged and make their presence know even more. It may not always be a physical touch or smell, but usually that plays an important role. Sometimes our guides come and we feel them as an emotion. You may suddenly begin to cry for no reason, not that you are sad or mad or that anything is wrong. Or, you may all of a sudden feel extremely happy while you are sitting there contacting your angel. This is your validation, your guides way of showing you he or she is here when they are needed.

Your guide has a name. Not all names a pronounceable in our earthly tongue so often our guides will place a more human name with themselves. Sometimes the name is rare and unique wile others offer a common and sometimes humorous name to make us smile. This is the next step for you to take while your guide and you are in your golden aura. Aloud or in your mind ask your guides name. This first name that pops in your head is your guides name. Do not second guess it, do not question it. This is the name your guide has given him or herself. You may now use this name in the future when contacting and addressing your guide. In your mind or aloud ask your guide with assistance in a part of your life or current situation that needs immediate attention. Know your guide will play a vital role in the outcome and set your worries aside for it is out of your hands now.

Now that you know your guides name and have made first contact, we can move on to the final step. It is time to physically see your guide. Your guide will choose how you will see him or her. Sometimes they show us in full, a beautiful body with large wings and a grand aura surrounding them. Sometimes they come as a native chief in full headdress or an ancestor we once knew. Other times we may only see a glimpse of their energy, a shadow or movement. Sometimes it looks like a ripple in the room or the bend of energy and we know something is there. Do not be discouraged if you only see a small bit of your guide. This is the first time and you may need to work on your ridding yourself of negative energies before you are capable of fully seeing.

The final step is to once again thank your guide. Aloud and in your mind say "Thank you". Let your angel or guide know you are going to open your eyes and you would like to see them. Once again, take a deep breath and open your eyes. As I mentioned above you may see only a small shadow or spec of different color move quickly away. You may see tiny little white or golden particles in front of your eyes or you may see your guide standing or sitting with you. It all depends on how open you are and the amount of negative that may still linger in the room or sacred space you have created. You must follow all the steps to achieve the desired contact with your guardian angel or spirit guide. Thank your guide once more and continue to visualize your aura as golden and bright. You may allow other colors to enter but know your angel is attracted to you most when your aura is mighty and ready to communicate.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and take in these words. I do not take this post lightly and I contemplated on even writing it for the publics view. I am only sharing the ancestral and angelic information that has been shared with me from my guides and memories. I ask that you love all life as one unit and hold this world sacred and ancient teachings sacred.

Creative ideas seem to be coming to you in abundance. So many ideas, so little time. Embrace the change that these creative ideas could potentially bring. These thoughts aren't jut fleeting ideas with no meaning. You've been asking for answers and some assistance with your prayers, and now you have it right in front of you.

Following your hearts desires often leads to more positive energy being shaped in your life. Embrace the little things that bring you joy and before you know it, every little thing will seem to have some positive meaning and aspect to it.

Sometimes change is necessary to accompany our desires. You are a free spirit and no one can tell you any different. Follow your path, not one that was created by someone else. You are urged to march to the beat of your own drum. This is where you will find your freedom, your peace and the hope you have been seeking. Yes, they have always been there, right in front of your very eyes. You just needed a little help lifting the veil that seemed to be weighted down.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Now is a perfect time to draw things near. Between the new and full moon, during this time of the waxing crescent, you are urged to focus on relationships, love and universal oneness.

Every Witch or Goddess should have either a Magical Wand or Dagger that is used in casting a safe circle of protection. Before any form of magical work or meditation is done, you should place yourself in an invisible energy bubble or sacred pyramid. this is easily done by calling upon and honoring the four sacred directions and their elemental properties. If you don't already have some sort of circle casting object, I highly suggest you get one. Make sure it is new or has been in your possession a majority of its life. Other wise the object may be carrying the residual energy of the past user.

This week cast a circle around your self with your wand or other casting device. When you do this, close your eyes and visualize purple and white particles making a shield of protection. Call upon the elements and directions. Ask your ancestral energy to assist in your magical doings. You are about to meet one of your guardian angels or spirit guides this week and he/she will thank you for the protection and purity you are providing from negative thoughts.

Your Mission for this week:
Your Spirit Guide, Arc Angel or Ancestral energy (how ever you wish to see it or call it) is trying to make full contact with you. As we evolve, so does our soul and we are dawning a new age of awareness. Your angelic guide wants to show themselves to you. Are you open and ready for such a spiritual event? You must be ready and become receptive to all the possibilities.

Your angel/spirit guide can help you when you feel down and depressed. When you feel in need of emotional support or lonely, they will be there, ready to lean a shoulder to cry on or a wing to embrace you. There is never anything too small or trivial to request their guidance or advice on.

If you think you are ready for such an event, then I will show you and explain in full detail how to see your guide and feel your guides touch. My guides have always let themselves be known, but many have turned a blind eye or suppressed what they once knew. Think back to your days of a child. Most of us were frequently visit by our guides as small children.

I promise to share with you in full detail how to discover your spirit guide/guardian angel. This is not something I take lightly and a few years ago I don't think I would have even considered sharing this over the internet. Sometimes in life we get a sensation we can not ignore and this is my sensation now, to share this information. Please stay tuned to this blog for today or tomorrow (when ever I finish putting into text and posting it) I will post how to experience such a wonderful and much needed energy.

Natural Home Fragrance

Your home is a sacred place of dwelling. Many of us are allergic and highly sensitive to home fragrances bought in a store or produced by large companies. Most contain harmful chemicals, including formaldehyde and acetone. Both known to have major side effects on the human body, both physically and neurologically.

Our home usually smells of some sort of freshly baked goods. If I don't have a loaf or two of bread in the oven, I usually have other baked goods such a pizza, cookies, brownies, etc. On days I don't have anything going I still like the smell of something nice. Usually I will place several items in a pan and place them on stove. Depending on the season or moon phase, I'll use different ingredients. I then simmer them all day and allow the vapors to spread the aroma around the house.

Below are some of my personal recipes I use for Natural Home Fragrance.

Apple Pie:
I sliced apple
2 cinnamon sticks or 1 tsp powder
10-12 whole cloves or 1/2 tsp powder
**place in two cups of water, bring to boil. Once boiling reduce to simmer. You may need to add water again later if the level gets to low. You can use this for two days then toss in your compost.

Fall Delight:
Left over orange peels or 1/2 an orange
2 cinnamon sticks
**place in two cups of water, bring to boil. Once boiling reduce to simmer. You may need to add water again later if the level gets to low. You can use this for two days then toss in your compost.

Autumn Nights:
1 can pumpkin puree or 1/2 a small pie pumpkin
12 whole cloves or 1/2 tsp powder
1/8 tsp ginger
*place in three cups of water, bring to boil. Once boiling reduce to simmer. You may need to add water again later if the level gets to low. You can use this for two days then toss in your compost.

Summer Delight:
1 lemon quartered
left over orange peels or 1/2 an orange
*place in two cups of water, bring to boil. Once boiling reduce to simmer. You may need to add water again later if the level gets to low. You can use this for two days then toss in your compost.

Spring Dreams:
2 bunches fresh Lilac flowers
*place in two cups of water, bring to boil. Once boiling reduce to simmer. You may need to add water again later if the level gets to low. You can use this for two days then toss in your compost.

Powerful Peonies:
4 Peony Flowers almost fully bloomed

*place in two cups of water, bring to boil. Once boiling reduce to simmer. You may need to add water again later if the level gets to low. You can use this for two days then toss in your compost.
****Note: Try straining the flowers the next day and place the water in a plastic spray bottle with a tsp of witch hazel. You now have a wonderful and natural home spray!

Lovely Lavender:
1/2 cup fresh or dried lavender flowers

On the 15th day of January, we shall have a New Moon. The annual full Solar Eclipse shall take place as well on this day. However the eclipse will only be viewable in the Asia and Africa areas of the world. The new moon is a time to start new adventures, ideas, creative thoughts, etc. It can also be a time to draw romance to ones self and life. Think new beginnings in all areas of your life that need a little relief, a new start or even a fresh outlook.

This week will pose some issues in your personal life. Your political opinions and choices may come into question. Not only may you be questioned by others, but you may give new thought to your own political opinions. Know that it is okay to change your mind on issues, matters and circumstances. Your personal freedoms may be in jeopardy, be it at home, work, school or even your everyday life. Be aware of the changes taking place around you. If you don't like it, change it. Provide a fresh outlook or consider new options. If you feel your personal freedoms of expression are being criticized or taken away, then take a stand. Just remember that there is no violent solution to any situation. Use your powers of intellect and creation.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Your love is needed around the globe. Now is the perfect time to practice magical abundance for love & gratitude. No more woe is me or doomed day chants. We must reaffirm and manifest a positive outlook and take on life and how we are living. John Lennon & Yoko said it best with "War is Over... if you want it" or "Love is all you need!" Very powerful words, becasue the reality is that we are the change and the means of creating what we want or don't want. This applies to more than just war. We must quit giving the negative so much energy and refocus our abilities to loving this amazing planet and all her magnificent inhabitants.

The new moon is providing you an opportunity to raise awareness on a global scale. We have the ability to love unconditionally and share that with others. All spell work down now should be in favor of love and gratitude. Spells that thank the water, the sun and moon. Spells that honor the sacred elements and the once honored ways of our ancestors.

Consider the ripple effect of every microscopic thing you say or do. Did you throw a recyclable can in the trash? What is the ripple effect? Were you in a hurry so you didn't hold the door for the mom with her three children? What is the ripple effect? Was your waitress very friendly and provided you with good service? Would you tip her extra and provide compliments? If you did, what would be the ripple effect? What would be the difference in ripple effects if you planted 5 trees or cut five trees down? Got you thinking about actions in all directions? Everything you do has an effect on yourself, others and the environment. Go forth this week and be considerate with all you do. Show gratitude. You are encouraged show gratitude, especially to those you encounter in need of a pick me up. If someone is being extremely negative, explain to them your mission for this week. Don't worry about their reaction as this is part of your personal freedom of expressions.

Oracle Message from the Fairy Realm "Dreams Coming True"

The desires of your heart are beginning to manifest into reality. The fairies ask you to keep your faith and only expect a positive outcome. If you expect negative, then negative will flow to you, as you are expecting it!

The life you have been dreaming of is ready to become a reality and it's in the very starts. Your prays, affirmations and positive thoughts are bringing you closer to this grand manifestation. At this current moment you are only seeing glimmers of what could be. Drop the fears, the opinions of others and your worries. Let go of what you resist so it doesn't persist. Your transition can be successful with your continued faith. Ask the fairies to release your fears that could cause you to sabotage your manifestation abilities. Your hopes are being given new light with the beginning of the new calendar year. We must learn how to let go of the issues we faced or demons we battled. Things can only get better, if you choose to see it that way. The law of attraction and power of manifestation will play a vital role this year and the rest of your life. What you resist will continue to persist. Let go of the troubles and problems that seemed to once consume you. This is now who you are. Allow yourself to be free of those chains. Release it to what ever entity or force you believe in. Visualize the issues in a bag or on a plate and hand them over to God/Goddess. Ask the fairies to carry them away or a river to watch them down stream. Know when you let go of them that these issues or matters are gone forever, no longer your concern. They require no thought, as thought would only bring them back. Remeber, you have released them and God or the Universe has already taken care of it.

This week and month may pose for some communication issues. With both Mercury and Mars in retrograde, common miss-communications can happen easily. Often we experience dropped phone calls, internet connection issues, malfunctioning computers and other devices that allow us to psychically connect to each other for communication purposes. Sometimes this is the universe pushing you to physically see the person or attempt to to connect with them on some level telepathically. After all, a new era is coming and we have to start opening up somewhere. Why not start with the third eye and our spiritual and elemental instincts.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

It is highly suggested that you take the time to cleanse all of your crystals and magical working devices in water. Bless them with the unconditional love the universe offers. Visualize particles of dust or energy floating down from the heavens and absorbing into your magical devices. Allow the energy to be absorbed into your body and soul as well. Be sure to search my archives for different cleansing and renewal rituals and meditations. One of my favorites is the body and bath cleansing meditation.

Any magic done now for such things as court cases and ridding ones self of a negative habit or issue is in perfect timing. Things will flow in your favor at this time with the current moon phase and astrological positioning. Rest easy and know the universe is playing out the best scenario for you, even if it may not feel like it at the moment.

Your Mission for this week:

Show patience with others and yourself. Give close ones the benefit of the doubt. Most likely they are just trying to help you, even if you don't agree with their way of showing it. Respect your elders, no matter the situation. They have still lived here more years physically than you and they are closer to their transition than you are. Keep in mind that those who are many years older than you have experinced different aspects of life and understand and have lived through many eras and changes. Even if you are the adult or grandmother yourself, head the advice of your elders, regardless of circumstances or personal differences. No, they don't always know best, but they have more life experience in years than you and that deserves a little bit of respect.

I have decided to give you a physical and emotional mission, should you choose to except it:
Choose one person in your life that you deeply care about and are extremely thankful for. Make sure this person is of the same sex and not your life partner or spouse. If you are a woman, then pick another woman that you are thankful is a part of your life. Write a physical letter to them, not an email or a short text message. Get out your pen and paper and let them know from the heart why you are grateful they are part of your life. Keep the letter purely positive, maybe even make a gratitude list of why you care about them. It's not about what they've done for you, it's simply why you are thankful for that particular person. Why wouldn't life be the same without them? Share your heart and allow that special someone to know why they mean so very much to you and play an important role in your life.

Happy Winter Solstice my dear friends!

Today is one of the most sacred sabots of the year. Once again we welcome the birth of the sun. Tonight the longest night of the entire year and the shortest hours of daylight. After today we will once again have longer daylight and shorter nights.

The holidays are a time of gathering and a time of giving. Personally I feel we should practice this type of behavior year round. For many the economy has put a bind on the financial flow for gift giving. Look at his as a creative way to express yourself. Use your intuition and create gifts for your family and friends. Home baked goods are always a wonderful treat! Don't limit your imagination to just that thought. If you know someone that is an avid bird watcher, make them a homemade ornament or small wreath made from non toxic glue and bird seed. You can also use leftover bacon grease and mix it with birdseed for an excellent suet! Freeze or refrigerate for best results. A mason jar filled with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar is a great idea for guys with a sweet tooth. Add simple instructions about placing the mixture on heavily buttered toast for a quick snack. Mmmm! I would post some of the gifts I have made for friends & family, but then their surprise would be spoiled if they read this. ;-)

There is a solstice tradition that me and my husband have done for nearly 8 years now. Each Solstice evening after we have had a nice homemade dinner at the table, we get in the car and go for a drive. If it is snowing and the weather is not so good, then we enjoy it even more! We just take things a bit slower and use more caution while driving. We head out with our winter gear on hand (like snow bibs, gloves, etc). We make sure we have at least one to five pounds of birdseed with us. The evening is spent driving around the local parks and taking a walk in the evening moonlight and snow. This is wear the winter clothes come in handy. ;-) As we take our walk, we reflect on everything we are grateful for. We avoid thinking or speaking about any negative aspects. I usually take along a large cup so I can fill it with birdseed and scatter the seed all around in various areas. I like to place a small pile of seeds on a picnic table, scatter some under the trees that normally bare fruit in the warmer months and place the rest where the feathered friends are sure to find and enjoy it. I also like to gift the other animals with apple peals, orange slices and other goodies. However, some parks consider this littering instead of providing the woodland creatures with treats. If this is the case in your area, simply find a small wooded area and give the apples and oranges a toss. The animals will be sure to find them and enjoy it! On the drive home we'll take our time and most likely go out of the way a bit to view some holiday lights. It will be a quiet and beautiful evening. Upon arriving home we'll have a cup of hot tea or coffee, unless we take a thermos with us and drink it all while we are out and about. The rest of the night will be spent cuddling, maybe a small meditation honoring the rebirth of the sun and then a movie before bed.

Remember that the season is not about what you are lacking or can not give. Show gratitude, make a list of all that you are thankful for and repeat it daily. No matter how bad it seems, someone else is suffering far worse than you can ever imagine. We have freedoms, food, shelters and hope. Some countries and regions can not say the same. We are fortunate so please be thankful and show some gratitude.

I want to wish all of my blog readers and subscribers a beautiful holiday season. What ever your celebration be, may it be merry and filled with memories. Love those close to you, cherish the little things in life and never take anyone for granted. We are all stardust, children of this universe that we call home. Be peace, be love, be the answer you pray for.

A Sacred Time of Year ~ Tis the Season

The sacred solstice is upon us. As the darkness of the days seems so long, the time has come for it to change once more. The rebirth of the sun is upon us. The days have grown colder and the darkness so very long. The rebirth of the sun will once again bring us warmth, longer days filled with the suns rays and light. The darkness will fade, bringing an end to the year. New beginnings await us with the rebirth of our sun. Without the sun, there is no life. Thus this time of year we celebrate birth, life and love.

The magic of winter solstice and the worship or honoring of the sun has taken place since the dawn of human life. The history and celebration of Solstice predates all religion. Nothing can exist without the sunlight that feeds the very core of life on earth. During this time of year we should honor both the light and dark side of the season. Without the darkness, there can be no light.

The original story of Santa Clause was based around solstice eve. Winter solstice is the longest night out of the entire year and the shortest day. It was believed that this is when Santa made his magical flight to bring fruits of plenty to those deserving. The original legend also states that Santa was more of a woodsman and wizard like being. He brought gifts of plenty to the forest creatures who were scavenging the woods for food under the snow and cold winter nights. He scattered bird seed, tossed apples here and there and provided the creatures with a delightful snack. Most likely he also made them gifts that would provide shelter or a blanket to be carried off from a momma to her nest of babies. The story and legend have survived for thousands of year. The story of Santa even predates Christianity and Jesus.

Did you know that 'Christmas Trees' have only been popular in the past 200 years. In many cultures it is sacrilegious to kill a tree for the purpose of personal amusement and decoration. You would be going against everything that the season stands for. Not a very good way to honor life and nature. The alternative is a fake tree, but for many this is a personal or environmental issue. The chemical treatment the artificial trees receive is very toxic, especially when thrown out n the trash a few years later. Many people, including myself can not be around artificial trees because of the toxins they release. It can cause major breathing difficulties, rashes and in some cases a more severe reaction. Personally I opt for either a poinsettia plant (now known to NOT be harmful to pets) or I create a nice winter themed alter. This year I opted to do both. My winter alter has a live plant in the center. Another alternative, and perfect for most is to simply buy a live tree that is in a pot and will be planted in the warm spring months. To me, this is the only way I feel a tee should be done at this time of year. I would love to do this myself but I am one of those people that is highly allergic to pine trees, their sap and the pollen they create. If you opt for the live tree that will be planted later, consider making homemade and edible ornaments for the tree. Use bird seed, suet, natural fibers that birds can use in their nest and so on. When the tree is planted, birds will automatically be drawn to it and thus you will have gifted nature as well! This is truly a gift that keeps on giving year after year.

For many of us this time of year can pose to be emotionally hard. For me personally it is the very first year without my father and my mom. My dad passed away extremely unexpectedly this February. Since then my mother has been fortunate enough to love again. She has also moved on geographically to honor and cherish her new love. We are happy for her but will dearly miss her being part of the holiday celebrations and rituals as well. For me this will be a hard holiday as neither of my parents will be here physically. It is a reminder that we suffered a great loss this year, both emotionally and financially. My husband and I had the worst possible year finically. We lost everything in 2009. My father and my aunt passed, my mom moved, hubby lost his job, our home was reposed and foreclosed upon, they came a week before Thanksgiving and repossessed my truck and continue to threaten the car. We hope to keep the one remaining vehicle we have. It was a scary year and I am honestly glad it is coming to and end! Please know if you are suffering, you are not alone. We have all dealt with some amazingly hard life changes this year. The holidays can be a harsh reminder of them.

In our household we celebrate solstice as an end of the year and a new beginning or birth of another. We let go of our issues and hardships, knowing the universe will have them and see fit they no longer cause a problem. This makes room in our life for new and wonderful memories and events. We must let go of the past so we can live for today. Tom (my hubby) and I have big plans for 2010. He is currently opening up his very own automotive shop. He's been restoring, custom fabricating and professionally painting some of the most classic and custom cars and trucks for over 25 years. After the economy went under and we had to move because of dads death and the house being foreclosed upon, Tom decided it was time to venture out on his own. He's 45 years old and tired of working for someone else when he has more experience, knowledge and schooling. We hope the business takes off soon. We have had a bit here and there, but I hope with the new year this business venture will take off and make him a happy man. Please know Tom is environmentally conscious and using the most friendly products available on the market. If all goes well we will eventually make sure the business is run on wind and solar powers only to top it off. As for me, I am venturing out as well. For a while now I have done freelance photography for myself. I was honored with being internationally & nationally nominated with a few of my photography images. I never made more a couple bucks here and therefrom print sales, but I loved it. I've decided to take it a step further and actually open a studio in my home to do photography sittings & sessions. This is my passion and my love, to be behind the camera (and in my organic gardens in the summer). If the universe allows (and why wouldn't it if I love it and have all good vibes towards my photography) I will be booking my calender up with clients & customers for portrait sittings. As I said, the new year is coming so we are going to be brave and venture out on our own for financial freedom. I too have updated and created my website to accompany this new plan. Oracle Message from the Fairy Realm "Higher Consciousness"

From time to time the Fairy folk feel a need to relay a message for those that are open to listening. When needed or as requested from the fairy realm, an oracle reading with the Fairies is done to receive their guidance and thoughts. I do this for myself and anyone else who wants to listen or read. Their messages always resonates with many around the globe.

The message received this reading is:
"Higher Consciousness"

You are being urged to take frequent walks in nature. Make time away from noise and stress so you may hear the voice of your higher conscious. Try quieting your life and mind a bit so your higher consciousness can become loud and clear. When we self defecate, talk aloud or put ourselves or others down in anyway, we are going directly against this voice and often find it completely voided out. Try going about your day without all the little cluttered thoughts of; who did this, where does this go, what about this, and so on. Get rid of them! Those thoughts, especially if spoke aloud clutter your mind, taking up space for your true and higher consciousness.

Your recent and soon to be dreams, thoughts and aspirations are coming from the spirit realm (meaning god/goddess/spirit/energy). For a while now you have been seeking some form of divine guidance and your higher consciousness is now beginning to answer. If you're still having a bit of trouble hearing your higher consciousness try some deep meditations for release and openness. If these don't seem to work, find that quiet time and confront the universe aloud. Know your right to higher consciousness and let the universe know that you feel ready and aware. Remember, you must make the time for a quiet mind and release and cluttered thoughts to hear the voice of higher consciousness.

Soon you will begin to receive guidance from your true self, your higher consciousness. This way of thought is one with the divine universal wisdom and energy. Allow your consciousness to listen to love and kindness rather than fear or what ifs.

The fairies ask that you take this special time at least once a week to clear your mind, walk in nature and allow the voice to guide you perfectly through all areas in your life. You deserve this. Know your life is beginning to improve by allowing your higher consciousness to guide you.

A Beautiful Mabon

The beauty of the Fall/Autumn Equinox is finally here. On September 22nd, we honor the changing seasons with the first day of fall, also known as Mabon. Mabon is one of several sacred lunar/solar events that takes place since the beginning of time as we know it. On this day we are provided with equal amounts of both night and day. Tomorrow the days will continue to become shorter and the nights will begin to grow longer and longer till we reach the Winter Solstice when the sun is reborn once more.

Mabon is a time of balance, and a good time to celebrate the stability of the hearth and home. It is the time of the autumn equinox, and the harvest is winding down. The fields are nearly empty, because the crops have been plucked and stored for the coming winter. Mabon is the mid-harvest festival, and it is when we take a few moments to honor the changing seasons, and celebrate the second harvest.

For some, it's a season to honor the darker aspects of the goddess, calling upon that which is devoid of light. For others, it's a time of thankfulness, of gratitude for the abundance we have at the season of harvest. No matter how you see it, Mabon is traditionally a time of balance. After all, it's one of the two times each year that has equal amounts of darkness and daytime.

Ways to Celebrate Mabon:

Show/Feel Gratitude ~ Sit down and make a gratitude list. Write down things that you are thankful for. An attitude of gratefulness helps bring more abundance our way -- what are things you're glad you have in your life? Maybe it's the small things, like "I'm glad I have warm running water" or "I'm glad my car is running." Maybe it's something bigger, like "I'm thankful I have a warm home and food to eat" or "I'm thankful people love me even when I'm cranky or spinning." Keep your list some place you can see it, and add to it when the mood strikes you.

Honor the Darkness ~ Without darkness, there is no light. Without night, there can be no day. Despite a basic human need to overlook the dark, there are many positive aspects to embracing the dark side, if it's just for a short time. Celebrate a ritual that honors that aspect of the Goddess which we may not always find comforting or appealing, but which we must always be willing to acknowledge. Call upon the gods and goddesses of the dark night, and ask for their blessings this time of year.

Autumn Cleansing ~ As autumn rolls in, we know we'll be spending more time indoors in just a few months. Take some time to do a fall version of spring cleaning. Physically clean your home from top to bottom, and then do a ritual smudging. Use sage or sweetgrass as you go through your home and bless each room. This ritual should be done to your aura as well.

Rainbow Tree's Mabon Balancing Meditation & Ritual

You will need:
1 glass bowl of water
1 white candle & 1 black candle (same size & height)

Do a basic circle casting and quarter calling before you begin this ritual. Place a protective cone or pyramid of purple energy over yourself. Know you are always safe in any magical work you are doing that is done with love and gratitude.

Place the bowl of water directly in front of you. On the left place the white candle and on the right side of the bowl place the black candle. Light each candle and say "Thank you" aloud to honor the element of fire. Repeat to honor the element of air when you blow the match out or the flame from the lighter is extinguished.

Repeat the following aloud:
God & Goddess of the divine, bring to me the balance of the season.
Tonight I dance in the dark shadows of our earth.
I honor the darkness for without it we can never have the light.
I thank you for the abundance of the season,
the flesh of the fruits and the warmth the sun brought us.
I know now is the time to honor the balance in all things.
For we can not feel love until we experience rage.
We could never understand peace if greed or chaos stayed away.
If we never experienced sorrow, we may never know true joy.
Without the darkness of night, there would be no light of day.
Without death, we might not value life and hold it so precious.
It is in the sacred balance that we find our serenity.
Allow my spirit to see and feel the balance of this universe.
Bring to me the light and dark divine.
Show me the ways of old on this sacred sabot.

A Witch's Kitchen: Mid Summer Harvesting

One of the features I mentioned early on in my blog was the 'Witch's Kitchen'. These posts consist of actual recipes I use and/or created. To read previous posts like this, simply search "Witch's Kitchen" in the search box at the top left of my blog page.

A Kitchen Witch can never have too many spices, herbs and recipes for all sorts of dishes! No matter what I am cooking I am aware of the properties from the herbs, oils and others items I use. Every dish I cook is blessed and thanked and of course has a little magical quality to it, not to mention an overall quality for health as well.

All ingredients are non GMO'd (genetically modified or engineered) and/or certified organic to maintain my current state of health becasue of severe sensitivities. All ingredients were either purchased locally, at the Whole Foods Market or grown fresh from our organic garden.

The following recipes are geared around the harvest of midsummer or summers end.

Tomato Herb Salad
10-15 Large heirloom tomatoes ('ugly' ones with multi colors work best)
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp dried Basil
2 tsp Sea Salt
2 tsp Rosemary
1 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Cilantro
1/4 tsp minced Garlic
1 medium onion

At each end of tomato cut the core or stem out approx. 1/4 inch deep. Slice tomatoes like an apple with at least 8 or more slices per tomato. Half the slices or quarter them for smaller bites. Slice onion in rings then into quarters. In large bowl place tomatoes, onions and pour over the oil and vinegar. Stir items well and until completely covered. In a small dish combine herbs and salt until well blended. Toss over tomato and onion mixture and still well. Let sit a minimal of 8 or more hours in the fridge before serving. This allows the flavors to really seep in. Still well before serving. **Note: Follow this same recipe, dice all ingredients and serve over warm toasted bread, top with grated parmigiana cheese.

Pumpkin Curry Soup
6 cups of fresh pumpkin (or canned pumpkin puree)
2 cups organic milk
2 tsp Curry powder
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp cinnamon

In a saucepan add pumpkin and milk and place over medium heat. Stir the two till completely mixed. Begin to add the remaining ingredients. Continue to heat till on the verge of boiling, but do not boil. Turn burner on simmer, cover and allow to cook for approx. 20 minutes. Tastes great with bread & butter. Try serving it chilled on a hot sumer day.

Tasty Cukes
3 to 4 large cucumbers sliced
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black cracked peppercorns
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 small onion sliced

In a container place all ingredients, cover with lid and shake/mix well. Best served after they have sat overnight. Serve chilled. Add tomato slices for different flavor.

Fresh Corn Salsa
1 dozen sweet corn (cooked)
1 small onion (minced)
1 Tbsp Cilantro
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder

With a knife, slice the corn off the cob. Place cobs in your compost bin or set aside of farm animals, etc. Take the corn and add it a bowl, add remaining ingredients and stir well. Let sit 4 to 8 hours before serving for best results. Eat with tortilla chips or add to tacos or other dishes as a side.

Stuffed Apples
4 to 6 Ripe Red Apples (Organic Red Delicious work well)
16 to 20 slices of organic multi-grain bread (1 large loaf)
2 cups organic milk
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp sage
1/8 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp rosemary

With a sharp knife or apple corer, core the apples. Scoop a small amount of the apples insides out (about 4 Tbsp per apple). Place these aside in large bowl. Place the apples in a baking dish with the bottoms down. In your large bowl add the bread. I suggest tearing the bread into pieces before doing this. Add the milk slowly while you squeeze the milk into the bread with clean hands. Add herbs in the same manner to ensure they mix properly in the bread. When all ingredients are completely mixed, evenly stuff each apple. Push the mixture firmly into the core area of the apples. Place foil over apples and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake for another 15 to 30 minutes.

"Celebrating Bodily Movement"

There is a part of you that craves to do more. Your physical self, your body are craving to be released! When you were a child most likely you twirled about, spun around or made yourself dizzy. You did this all becasue your body suddenly craved the movement and you instantly reacted upon it. So why is it now that you are suppressing your body movement? Maybe your inner ballerina or tap dancer is screaming to break out and bust a move. Maybe your legs are restless and they crave to go jogging or to peddle a bike. Could it be your arms want to dig holes to plant, or maybe just dig simply for the digging enjoyment or to seek a buried treasure.

Your physical self has a mind of its own. The fairies connect their realm with our body movements and consider them part of the same kingdom. What happens when we honor the cravings of our physical self is that we open another of our senses. Ask your physical self what it desires, then release it with your body movements. If your childhood inner ballerina needs to come out, let her twirl through the living room and continue it to outside or even while you are cooking. Tip toe, twirl, spin your arms about. Feel the emotional release when you give your body the physical cravings. Don't limit yourself or say you 'can't' do it. The possibility to heal ones self exist, but it is within you. Answer the calls and cravings, know you can perform the movements your body desires.

Pay attention to your body. It may want a simple walk in nature, a dance to a song, perhaps yoga lessons are in order. Your physical self might even be desiring movements of a sexual nature. These are considered the most sacred, yet we as humans forget the energy that can be raised by the most euphoric experience possible.

I graciously acknowledge the needs of my physical body and know the importance of paying attention to my body's desires.

August News & Updates ~ Life, Love and Home

I know it's been a while since I posted my last blog. The Weekly Lunar Readings have been behind along with some of the other usual posts. I do promise to resume most of everything shortly. I apologize for the delay in any explanations of the lack of postings.

My daughter Destiny started her first day of school in the 7th & 8th grade today. This is one of the main reasons for little to no postings here at the blog. Time seems to run short most days. I find myself wanting to be here but searching for the time or proper moment to take a break and start writing. Now that school has resumed and we've completely moved in and settled down at our new location, things will begin to be brighter.

Though we are only renters here at the old farm house I grew up in, I find myself wanting to plant and tend to it as if it were my for-ever home. Tom & I know we will have to relocate sometime, but for now this old place keeps the memory of childhood days. Some days
here are harder than others. It's never been the same since Dad passed away this February so very unexpectedly. I have many fond memories of Mushroom 'hunting', walking through the woods with dad, being out in the garden and above all else, sitting with him on the front porch watching the storms roll in across the field. I was never afraid of the lighting or the big rumbles. I had my big strong daddy there to protect me and that's all I felt I needed. There are two men in my life that I love more than anything, one of them is my husband, the other my beloved father. Now it is just Tom and he does what he can to fill dads shoes around the property. He's strong like dad, comforting when needed but oh so gentle. Tom and my dad shared many qualities. Tom looked to my dad as his very own father. They were closer than most son/dad relationships. I don't think there will ever be a day that I don't miss my dad. It gets easier yes, but I will always miss him. That is where the sadness comes from now, simply missing him.

The organic garden is rather blah this year. No one, including myself had the heart to keep up with it as much as we should have. There is always next year though. My mother, whom I love dearly will be moving away in the upcoming months. She has met a new love and has chosen to relocate the two or more hours away from all of us. I've accepted it, don't like, most likely never will like it. Speaking of her moving so far away of course. I'll admit that it will always be hard to see her with her new guy, he's not Dad after all. Her guy is nice and I'm sure he'll be a wonderful addition to the family. I only hate the rawness of missing my dad and at times must remind myself he is dead when I see her and the new guy smooching. I'll take seeing her happy though any day over her depression of losing dad. Still, I don't like the 2+ hour difference there will be. I've also realized I am not my moms best friend any longer. After dad died, so did a part of mom. That was the main part I knew of her and it is no longer there. Our relationship has changed dramatically. I only hope the phone calls actually happen that are promised. I know how it is now with most of the family and lack of communication on all behalf's. I guess thats my biggest fear with her move. Fear is not something I am going to feed so I shall give it as little thought as possible.

Things are looking up for Tom and his business. I'm trilled he is only 3 miles from home, working for himself and feeling happy. He has a new sense of pride about him and I love that. Word has already gotten out that he is back in town with a small custom auto body shop of his own. I keep his www.CustomOhio.com website up and running and do all his emails from time to time. I don't mind helping him out, especially when I see how much he appreciates it!

Tom and I will officially be married for 10 years this Friday, August 21st. The time has just flown by! I really can't believe we were wed ten years ago. We are more in love with each than we could ever imagine. If anything we love each other more now than we ever thought possible 10 years ago. We are both blessed to have each other and the gifts we give emotionally. Tom is my husband, my lover, companion, bet friend and of course my man slave. Yes, he knows I call him my man slave. It's all good though becasue I'm his goddess. ;-)

Tonight Tom & I go to get new glasses, or at least order them. We both haven't had a new prescription in over 8 years. To say we are over due for an eye exam and glasses doesn't even begin to cover it. We are both crossing our fingers that we can use our same frames and save some major money doing so. Frames are so expensive and I'd prefer to not spend the money and keep the ones I have already.

On a new note, I did get a new tattoo for our 10th anniversary. Check out my Facebook pictures on my profile: www.Facebook.com/RainbowTree Self designed shooting star on my forearm. It represents the Leonid meteor showers that Destiny was born under in November. Below it I already had konji symbols that said "Daughter Destiny Twilight". This was a wonderful addition to that and my arm! I've always been attracted to the tribal like qualities of most tattoos. I find them addictive and plan to have more on my canvas of a body.

Tomorrow is a New Moon! Be sure to check out my archives for New Moon spells, magic, chants and rituals! A new moon is the perfect time to plant rooted items in the ground. Trees especially do best when planted under or right before a New Moon. For the last new moon I planted a Maple Tree sapling that we brought with us from our old home. It is doing quite well... despite the nibble from deer.

I would like to get a new Message from the Fairies out to all of you this week. There are some important things they would like to share in the upcoming days. I love interacting with the fairy folk that were here when I was a child. I still remember then as they remember me. The spring fed creek and deep woods here offer them many comforts that they don't have else where. All and all the sprites are quite happy here. I was told these woods were once large enough to house a family or two of unicorns, I doubt they remain with some of the building that has gone on. They are such sensitive creatures and I do hope to one day see one scurrying through the woods or lapping up a drink of fresh water from the creek.

I'm still in the works for getting a new camera. A photographer without a camera.... there is something wrong with that picture. It does bother me not being able to snap a shot here and there. Soon enough I hope. :-) In the mean time I have posted my gallery of internationally & nationally nominated photography on my self created website: www.GivingEarth.com I recently added a small collection of my original poetry. Your individuality is essential in creating who you are, don't let anyone including yourself suppress that.

There is a good chance you have been feeling rebellious in your normal activities or duties. Most likely this is do to you wanting some form of change in your current lifestyle and situations. This could be something small from giving up a bad habit, to kicking out the inconsiderate roommate. It could be even bigger like selling your home or moving from your current geographical location. What ever the change is, its obvious that you are in need of some!

Listen to your gut instincts this week and always. The more you begin to really listen and flow those inner feelings, the more you will notice a balance in your life. Focus on your dreams as they may hold a psychic impression. Be nostalgic for the next week or two. Place yourself in a time of teenage or childhood memories that made you happy. Bring back your imagination and let it soar into stories to share with younger generations.

The moon is currently full. Now is the best time to charge any of your magical and light working devices, including yourself! One night this week created a sacred salt circle. This is done with sea salt, a bowl and yourself. Outside where you can see the moon, take your bowl filled with sea salt and sprinkle it in a circle that surrounds you. Make sure the circle of salt is heavy enough that you can physically see the circle. Stand in this protected circle. Call out each direction (North, East, South & West). Thank the directions and the elements they provide. Visualize yourself glowing with the same intensity as the full moon. Connect your aura to hers as she is part of you and all universal creations. Your Mission for this week:

Connect with your own blood. Sometimes friends, boyfriends, lovers, coworkers and other people need to be placed on hold for a while. It's nothing personal, and maybe you need to let them know that. Your family always comes first, they are there with you, they are bound to you throughout eternity. As humans we tend to find ourselves only giving one person, entity or situation all of our focus and attention. Even though you may be happy, you may also be hurting the ones who truly love you without judgment. Find a balance with your family and your new friend, lover or coworker. Give each their own time, separate from the other. This will create a feeling of 'no one is less special' than the other. It simply hurts many when the ones they love the most move on and seemingly forget or no longer feel it necessary to take time to make an effort is showing them they still care. Find the balance that works for everyone, not just you and your new friend or situation. Don't let the others fade off into the background, for they might not be there when you want then to come back.

This week could make or break some major relationships and situations in your life. Be careful and consider all facts, actions and feelings on everyones behalf.

When we are down it is good to think of the things we love and bring us happiness. If you are not content with your current situation, then it is up to you to change it. You have the power to replace your 'bad' feelings and emotions with good ones. If you feel hurt, betrayed or disappointed, replace those feelings with gratitude, love and joy. It may seem hard to do this at first, but that is only because you feel programed to focus on the drama or situation at hand. Let it go, know it will work its self out.

There is a lot of love in the air. I mean this literally in every way possible. Your mind is a powerful tool and you get to choose how you portray and see things. You also get to choose how you react and how your reaction may affect others or the planet as a whole. What a great gift the Universe gave to us! If you can tap into and be part of this enormous energy called love, then the possibilities in your life become limitless. Don't live in fear of tomorrow or the 'what ifs' of today. Live and love all creation, including yourself.

Anything planted now is sure to grow. I speak both literally and of course metaphorically. The perfect time to plant any type of tree or deep rooted perennial plant is during a New Moon and 3 days after. Not only are we currently under a new moon, there was a total solar eclipse half way across the globe. The biggest and longest solar eclipse we will ever see in our personal lifetime on this planet, a whopping 14 minutes. The Asian countries were very fortunate to see and experience such a sacred event.

Make sure your tree or other deep rooted plant is given plenty of water and well tended to. Offer your plant love and thanks, both aloud and mentally. The affects of positive affirmations on both plant life and human life are miraculous! See my Abundant Garden Blessing & Ritual for other ideas.

Late July & all of August Events from the Universe!

July 22 - New Moon **During this time you are bound to see some shooting stars in the blackened night sky with both the Aquarid and Perseid Meteor Showers going on.

July 22 - Total Solar Eclipse. The path of totality will begin in central India and move east through Nepal and China where it will end in the central Pacific Ocean. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout most of eastern Asia and Hawaii. **This rare eclipse will last almost 14 solid minutes. Any magical/light work done now will be extremely powerful!

July 28, 29 - Southern Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower. The Delta Aquarids usually produce about 20 meteors per hour at their peak. The shower will peak this year on July 28 & 29.

August 1st - One of the Eight Sabbats. The Old Celtic name for this festival is Lughnassadh. It is the Festival of the First Fruits, and is the first of the 3 harvests. This festival also marks the change of the Threefold Goddess energies from that of Mother to Crone.

August 5 - Full Moon ** search my archives for several Full Moon blessings, chants, rituals and meditations.

August 6 - Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of the Americas, Europe, Africa, and western Asia.

August 10 - September 4 - Saturn Without Rings. The rings of the planet Saturn will be tilted edge-on to the Earth, making them impossible to see. Viewing Saturn with a telescope will reveal the planet without its famous rings. This rare phenomenon only occurs every 14 to 15 years.

August 12, 13 - Perseids Meteor Shower. The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at their peak. This year's peak occurs on August 13 & 14, but you may be able to see some meteors any time from July 23 - August 22. The waxing gibbous moon will provide some interference in the evening, but after it sets, the morning hours should provide some spectacular viewing opportunities. The radiant point for this shower will be in the constellation Perseus. Look to the northeast after midnight.
** During the New Moon of July, the meteor showers will be very viewable with little moon light. Though this is not the peek, the darkness/void of the moon will offer a substantial view.

August 14 - Jupiter at Opposition. The giant planet will be at its closest approach to Earth. This is the best time to view and photograph Jupiter and its moons.

August 17 - Neptune at Opposition. The blue planet will be at its closest approach to Earth. This is the best time to view Neptune, although it will only appear as a tiny blue dot in all but the most powerful telescopes.

Your life may seem like a balancing act at the moment. To many distractions or a general feeling of just being overwhelmed. There is a fine balance within all of it. You just have to seek it out. For many it may be obvious and come naturally. For others it is like a test drive of a new car and they must get comfortable with it. You are the creator of your own day and what you make of it. Only you control your reactions to a situation or event. If you are feeling extremely overwhelmed maybe it is becasue you are taking on to much at one time. Perhaps you feel like you had no choice in this, however you are the choice in everything.

It is true that we must create or find the balance in and of all things. As the old sang goes 'as above, so below'. Yin and Yang, good and bad. Each one of those has balance somewhere in the middle. We too must find our own personal balance in this life to avoid what we perceive as chaos or chaotic situations. To each their own truth and perception to a given situation.

Keep in mind this week that you are the only one who has control over you. No one else can manipulate you unless you allow it. If you keep seeing the same pattern follow you, maybe it is time to reevaluate your current circle of friends or social network. If it doesn't bring you joy or happiness, it's simply not good for you.

By the time the weekend is here most of your current thoughts will be irrelevant to any given situation. You have to let go of the 'what if''s' and negative thoughts that might be holding you back from achieving your goals and dreams. At anytime you feel down about yourself, try a self cleansing ritual. Search my archives for several different postings on physical and emotional cleansing for the spirit & soul.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Your thoughts and fingers have been anxious to do some good old fashioned magical work. Why is it that you seem so tired or uninspired to do it? Get those magical working devices out and give them the much desired attention they are craving!

The imaginative thoughts you were born with can allow you to have limitless energy and capabilities. It is the teachings of man that have limited our natural capabilities. We fear instead of love.

Your inner light wants to burst out and share with the world that you are evolving. When we begin to relax and allow our imagination and creative thoughts (third sight) to become more reality Check out the Invoke your Imagination Ritual I posted previously.

Your Mission for this week:

One with the Universe Visualization

One night this find a spot in the sky that is starry. You need to have multiple stars visible so a place where the light is limited or little (away from the city) works well. You might consider contacting a friend or family member that lives in the country and asking them to camp out for a night. You know it would be fun anyway, so go for it!

When it is dark and the night sky is shining with twinkling stars you will begin your visualization. Look to the stars and allow your eyes to relax. You'll begin to see strings or lines connecting each star to another. This is the universal grid or web. Focus on the stars. Notice how the shimmer and almost bounce around. Pay attention to the shapes they make. Place your hand in front of your face but extend your arm out. Open your fingers and look through them so your eyes become unfocused away from your hand but you can see the stars appear clearly. Begin to notice how your hand appears to be disappearing right before you but you still see the stars clearly. This is a practice I have done with my child for many years now. Once we can no longer see our hand or fingers becasue we are looking beyond it at the grid (stars and lines), we then begin to visualize our entire bodies as invisible or as I like to call it 'pure energy form'. When we do this it feels as though our whole self is floating among the stars. We are one with the universe as a whole.

And we made the move..

I've been talking about it now for what seems like for ever. We are finally moved in with my mom after my dad died in February. It took us a while to get here and settled in. There are still a few boxes here and there and the garage is quite full. We went from a 2,300 square foot farm home to two bedrooms upstairs and a shared bath. I am not complaining though. The rooms coming along nicely, I miss the land around here and feel the love being back home where I grew up. I love this old house and the fairies that dwell in the sacred woods. This place is special and I am blessed to be here with my family.

Now that things are getting settled in and taken care of, I hope to soon restart the weekly Lunar Readings with Magical Attributes, Oracle Messages from the Fairy Realm and many other of my usually posts. I miss this routine. If all goes well, I will restart the normal blog posts once again next week.

Tom (my hubby) is getting ready to pull in a few jobs. He has to see about renting space to do it and continue his art with vehicles. In a few weeks Tom & I will celebrate our 10th year of marriage. I am excited and so blessed to have such an outstanding relationship with my spouse. We are truly kindred spirits from the past. We are the dryad and the tree spirit. I'm hoping we can go canoing and maybe camping at the Mohican Native Reservation and Park in Loudonville, OH.

I hope most of you had a chance to view the large full moon the other night. It was stunningly huge from our location! The aura glowed brilliantly against the blackness of the night sky. We watched it rise above the tree line with a few scattered clouds slowly making their way across the moonlit sky and shadowing across the sacred full moon.

Updates and News of the New - June 09

A lot has been going on the past few weeks. We are getting closer to the final days before the big move to my moms. I spent the past couple of days dealing with a reaction and sick stomach. This happens often with the chemical sensitivities and being medically housebound.

All and all tings are looking up, or I just choose to see it that way. :-) The weather has been producing some beautifully displayed storms. I do love summer storms. We had some close range lightening and thunder the other day with heavy rains that moved in across the field.

The night sky (when it is not cloudy) has been absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the full Strawberry Moon the other night. The aura spread and skipped across the sky like nothing I have ever seen before.

I've discovered that not all of our friends we have here at our current location are the lifelong kind. It's sad really but people tend to be hard when they know you are leaving the area. I will miss some of the good times we had with them but now I see that is was only surface friendships. It's to bad really and now we know we will not likely make a trip back here again. There is nothing here for us any longer and all of our families are located where we are headed.

To the left is the new Celestial Events calender from the Giving Earth website (my site). This is only a surface calender of events. There are many more celestial events that can't be seen with the naked eye so I have not mentioned them. A good search will turn up many more nightly activities.

As many of you know I am an Internationally & Nationally nominated Freelance Photographer. This is something I am very proud of and love to do. It is one of my biggest passions beside organic gardening. My trusty camera that I have used for the past several years died the other day. Unfortunately there is no backup camera and currently with Tom off of work and us moving I don't know when I will be financially able to purchase a new or even gently used Nikon or Cannon digital slr. I'm crossing my fingers and may try bartering for one on craigslist or something. I feel like I lost my best friend when my camera died. I did everything I could to hold back the tears and Tom (my hubby) stood beside me and promised it would be ok. "We'll figure something out," he said to me in his calm, soothing and mellow voice. A day without my camera is a day without sunshine to me. I dearly miss my camera and I hope to soon find a new that is just as good, if not better.

On a positive note, one of the kitties have been adopted! Only a few more to go before we move. All are spayed and/or neutered, very healthy and just adorable. I created an entire page dedicated to adopting these beloved animals on my website the Giving Earth. Though some of you may laugh and some may roll your eyes; I took the fairies up north last weekend on our trip. I had a wood create and walked our property to gather the ones that wished to go becasue of the new farmer and his chemicals. They fluttered in to the lined create and when several of the elementals from various plants and trees and other such things were ready, I gently covered them with a towel. We were hauling a few bales of straw up north as well so Tom rearranged the straw to firmly hold the wood create in place. We saw them dancing in the bed of the truck and riding what I called 'Air Waves' that were pockets of air getting caught between the truck and the trailer we were hauling. Pieces of the straw and several fairies twirled around in circles. When we reached our destination, I went to the edge of the woods with the create. Some of the fairies were already sneaking out the slatted side of the wood create but others patiently awaited for me to remove the towel. Some cautiously walked into the woods and others sprite-fully sprung out of the box and flew abruptly deep into the woods. They took a long a few crystals and seeds from our home to use in the new place. As I mentioned, several stayed here and told me a tale of the farmer and his chemicals. While I wish no one or thing harm, the fairies can be spiteful and I wouldn't be surprised if the new farmer has malfunctions with his tractors and spraying devices.

I also created a YouTube video last week. I took my blog post about Interacting with the Fairy Realm and created an educational relaxation and meditation video with art & music! The video is basically the blog I posted last week as mentioned above. The only difference is the viewing part and of course the added music. The video is available in HD for those interested. We're still in the process of moving. Destiny (my 12 yr old daughter) just had her last day of school yesterday. I promised her a 'Going Away' party with all her friends from school. That will be sometime this weekend. I thought it best she had a gathering of her own to say goodbye to those she loves and will dearly miss. We all need a form of closure with this leave and move.

I wanted to say Thank You to all of you for being understanding at this time about the move and some of the regular and normal postings being late or frequently missing. I know I didn't get last weeks lunar reading done and I am sorry. I do figure there will be things missing and late here and there with this move and the current going ons we are doing. If I don't respond to a comment right away, it's only becasue I'm currently away for a day or so at a time from the computer while we move.

There are times in our life that we become like the snake. We shed our old dead skin to reveal a new shiny coat that glistens. When we assess our relationships in detail we see that many of them are only surface relationships. They are not considered deep rooted. These friends/relations only come around when it seems something is needed on their behalf. This may not always be physical or monetary but it is to say the least emotional, especially for you.

The time has come for you to reevaluate your 'family'. Your family is not just made up of those related to you immediately. Your family is a universal connection that bares no scars. This is the feeling you get when meeting a kindred spirit and why you feel connected to those not in your immediate family or circle of friends.

During your reevaluation process, ask yourself whom you are completely real with. What friends/family members do you speak open and honest to, without any regret or guarded wall? In order for you to evolve to the spiritual state you are seeking you must be real and true to yourself and all that is. The whole you; physical, emotional and spiritual you are currently under this transformation. This is why you feel the battles in your environment. You have spread yourself on to many paths or dimensions, almost forgetting who YOU are.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

We often let the words or actions of others stand in our way. We focus on what was said or done and relive the moment over and over. Some find it hard to let go of a situation or someone who has done them wrong. They hold a grudge or resentment on a situation. Not being able to let go will only aid in physical symptoms of dis-ease, illness and depression. Take a deep breath and let it go. You can not carry the weight of others or their actions and thoughts. Only you have control over you, thus only you are allowing the feelings of depression, hurtfulness, anger or rage to manifest. Move beyond the situation/event or person for you will not allow yourself to give it time or existence.

Some of you may need a meditation or mental picture to banish the actions of someone else onto you. While I don't believe in ever banishing someone from the earth/world, I do see it necessary from time to time to banish them from our personal space and life. This simply means you no longer wish for them to be in your immediate circle of friends. You want to be assured they can not or do not have any control or manipulation over you.

Rainbow Tree's Personal Banishment Ritual

Visualize yourself floating in space while you are looking towards the earth. You see beautiful energy induced strings coming out from the earth that look like a spiders web. Allow the strings to connect around your waist, feet and hands. The web like ropes glow with intense light and energy. You begin to notice how the web is growing and connecting everything that exists to the earth, including you. You will see that almost all things are connected on this grid or web like formation of energy. When the negative energy/entity is seen clearly, view the strings attached to it/them. Take note the strings around your waist are connected together with theirs. The negative entity has the same strings as you connecting it to all that exists. You have acknowledged the same string connecting both of you at the waist, you are to visualize your fingers in the shape of a pair of scissors. Cut ONLY the string from your waist that connects you to the negative entity/energy you wish to bind. Under no circumstances are you to cut any other strings from that energy/entity or yourself. Only the string around the waist from you to the entity/person should be cut. When the web/string has been cut, you should visualize this energy drifting further away from you and out into space. When it is no longer in view you may open your eyes and know your act has been done. This entity and the energy from it now have no physical, emotional or spiritual control over you or any situation.

Your Mission for this week:

Host a small gathering at the end of this week for the closest of your friends and family. Keep it small, less than 10 people. Make a handmade gift for each of those friends, but make it one they can leave out in nature. I call this double gifting. A handmade edible seed ornament for the birds, a bird or bat house, dehydrated fruit, etc. make wonderful gifts for the human friend to leave for the feathered or furry friend. Attach a note to each gift or card with a special note. The note should explain why that person is so special and unique to you. These note are never thrown away, as no one would ever have the heart to trash something that was beautifully said about them. If you want to make your gathering extra special, call it a gratitude gathering and ask everyone else to do the same for a selected person at the gathering. You could even turn it into a craft and fun celebration of life with your closest of friends.

Sacred Space Chant-Blessing

Before & after any form of meditation, magical or light working is done, I like to smudge myself with either smoke of sage, blessed water, moonlight or sunlight. I will often repeat aloud a chant or verse that affirms I am a sacred vessel.

Below is one of the chants I use all the time. I say it aloud while doing a visualization of pure energy and love flowing into my body from the universe.

A Summer Solstice Ritual

This is one of many rituals I have done aloud with my own coven. Feel free to use it with your friends & family. Adjust what you wish, change what you want and have fun with it.

~~ Summer Solstice Ritual~~

Today, to celebrate Midsummer, I honor the Earth itself. I am surrounded by tall trees. There is a clear sky above me and cool dirt beneath me, and I am connected to all three. I light this fire as the Ancients did so long ago.

The Sun DESERVES our love and worship and we deserve to love and worship the Sun, without guilt. The Sun is without a doubt at least one half of our reason for existence on this beautiful planet, the other of course is the great system of Life on the Earth's surface we call Nature. It may seem natural for us to see them as a grand dyad: Mother Nature and Father Sun; but it's not altogether necessary. The choice is up to you.

At this point, start your fire.

The Wheel of the Year has turned once more
The light has grown for six long months
Until today.

Today is Litha, called Alban Heruin by my ancestors.
A time for celebration.
Tomorrow the light will begin to fade
As the Wheel of the Year
Turns on and ever on.

Turn to the East, and say:
From the east comes the wind, Cool and clear. It brings new seeds to the garden, Bees to the pollen and birds to the trees. Power and Spirits who reside in the east, we ask that you blow to us your powers of communication, intellect and reason. Bless us with the joy of your changeable nature.

Turn to Face South, and say:
The sun rises high in the summer sky and lights our way even into the night. Today the sun casts three rays. The light of fire upon the land, the sea, and the heavens. Power and Spirits of fire who reside in the South, we ask that you burn brightly in this circle with the force of your passion. Bless us with your transformation powers.

Turn to face West, saying:
From the west, the mist rolls in bringing rain and fog. The life-giving water without which we would cease to be. Powers ans Spirits of water who reside in the West, wash over this circle with your blessing of flowing abundance, fertility and mystery.

Finally, turn to the North, and say:
Beneath my feet is the Earth, soil dark and fertile. The womb in which life begins, and will later die, then return anew. Powers and Spirits of Earth who reside in the north, we ask that you lend to us your stabilizing energy, that which connects us to our mother, the Earth.

If you wish to make an offering to the gods or nature, now is the time to do it. If you wish to silently thank the universe, take a deep breath and give your thanks. I ask you give this moment of silence in honor of all the life that exists because of our beloved sun.

Build Fire Up
Say Aloud:
Summer Solstice is a time of rededication
To the gods. The triple goddess watches over us.
She is known by many names.
She is the Morrighan, Brighid, and Cerridwen.
She is the washer at the ford,
She is the guardian of the hearth,
She is the one who stirs the cauldron of inspiration. I give honor to You, O mighty ones,
By all your names, known and unknown.
Bless us with Your wisdom
And give life and abundance to us
As the sun gives life and abundance to the Earth.

Place the following into the fire. You may do this yourself or choose a person that best represents each direction.
When making this offering you should say your direction and elements aloud as you toss your items into the fire.

North - Salt of Earth.
East - without air we can not have Bread.
South - I give Honey to coat the ridged flames of the fire and ease the smoke.
West - without the rainwater the trees would bare no fruit and never grow, from water you give wine.

I make this offering to you To show my allegiance To show my honor To show my dedication To You.

Cast your offering into fire or continue to build it up one log at a time.

Conclude the ritual by saying:
Today, at Litha, I celebrate the life
And love of the gods and of the Earth and Sun. Take a few moments to reflect upon what you have offered, and what the gifts of the gods mean to you.

I thank the energy that binds this circle and I release the powers of all the sacred directions. I call upon and release the spirit to close this circle.

Blessed be Spirit that is in all great things. Thank you for your gifts of abundance, our garden that grows. We part with you tonight and the elements with in us all. Thank you for this sacred space. And so it is done, blessed be.

Candle Magic

I show you these two candles. One tall and white that represents the sun and the long day of solstice. One dark candle that represents the night and moon. Tonights night shorter than all other. We celebrate father sun in his full beauty before he begins to dim once more. *Light candles and gaze into the fire and focus on what you want for this new year and time. Be thankful and full of gratitude.

As we say Good Bye & Move...

There is much to be thankful for as we prepare for the final stages of moving. We feel blessed to have such a kind and loving family. We are fortunate to have another place to go to and call home for a short while. One day again Tom & I hope to have a bit of heaven to resume what we originally started.

As we say good bye to our farm & home of 7 years to move in with my mom after my dad died unexpectedly. With the market and finances as so-so the home will be sold as a 'short sale', taking a loss and hoping to avoid foreclosure. However, need it be we will sign it over to the bank if the short sale doesn't work. With Tom (hubby) being off work and no income, combined with all the past medical bills of 6 years worth of C-diff we were behind anyway. No biggie though, we're going along with the flow!

I've done my dealing with things and all is as it should be. I must accept what is and the reasons. It is sad but I will focus on the good memories. Having the Organic Produce stand was wonderful and I will continue to garden at my moms.

I took a few pics here and there over the past few days (and years). This is us saying good bye...
The Pontiac sits out by the quiet country road for sale with high hopes of getting out from our payment. Tom has the truck backed up to his garage with a borrowed cargo trailer to load his shop items for one of the trips. I'm standing on the deck of our bedroom upstairs looking out.
The two trees you see above are 100+ year old Heirloom Apples! Yummy! Out past the garage is a heart shaped pond about and eighth of an acre or so in size.
The moving sale sign sits against an empty dog house we'll be selling at the sale. The crescent moon garden out front that is just beginning to come up for the year was tilled several years ago by my dad. The maple tree you see is only 4 years old and over 15 feet in height. I call this my dad tree. Long story but he accidentally tried to kill it one day when I had it in a pot as a sapling. It was growing with the tomatoes for the garden so he decided to pull it like a weed as it was no more than 1/2 a foot or so in height. Tom found it wilted in the sun a couple hours later. We picked on dad all the time about how he tried to kill my beautiful maple tree. This tree received daily blessings of love & thanks in the summer when I was outside. I will miss this tree and flower garden with all my Tickseed more than anything on the property! The picture below titled 'A Fairies View' is of the Tickseed in my moon garden.
As I stand on our deck upstairs I view a section of the back yard. I love the red maple trees and my clothes. Mmmm the smell of freshly sun dried clothes... no you can't eat them like sun dried tomatoes ;-) Our daughters tire swing hangs from the tree that my husband and dad placed there for her. Not only has she enjoyed it for years but the other grandkids of his loved it when they visited.
My upmost favorite thing about the property that was already here when we moved in was all the beautiful Peony flowers. Peonies are my favorite flower anyway so you can imagine how delighted I was to see 2+ acres lined with them from pink to white and bold magenta.
These are the ones out front. A pale pink and bold magenta. The rest of the property where the creek line runs is lined with white and bright pink peony flowers.
We've also had lots of garden from flowered ones to of course the Organic Produce for our stand and farm market.

As we leave I remind myself that the house needed a ton of work still, caught fire twice in the past year and had a new farmer across the road using the worst chemicals possible and making it impossible to continue organic farming. We just finished with the EPA and Wildlife Refuge yesterday and today becasue the new farmer killed the eco system (all life) that resided in the creek running the length of our property. All fish, crayfish and other life gone. Unconscious actions and no regard for the earth and her inhabitants is all this particular farmer cares about. It's all about money and contracts instead of doing what's right and practicing 'doing no harm'. As my earth sister put it today on the phone, "Kandice, the universe is screaming at you that it is time to leave! How many more signs do you need?" She is right, it is time for us to leave this home in many ways and for many reasons. In that being said, we are again thankful and know this is the 'right' path to follow.

Because of the upcoming move & sale please have patience with my blog. There may be short periods of time when I do not post or respond to a comment. I know you are all very understanding and thank you for this!

By the way... becasue of the recent actions and environmental issues from the new farmer, the fairies and friends will be coming with us on the move. They can not reside here and fall ill to the over used pesticides and chemicals now being carelessly spread throughout these beautiful acres and surrounding property. I'm happy to have them join us on our journey.

Pan the Satyr ~ More Fairy Art

This is Pan, the Satyr, the newest image to be added to the Fairy Realm Collection. Legend states Pan was the Greek god of shepherds and flocks, who was especially popular in Arcadia. He is a son of the god Hermes. He was depicted as a satyr with a reed pipe, a shepherd's crook and a branch of pine or crown of pine needles. He had a wrinkled face with a very prominent chin. On his forehead were two horns and his body was hairy. He was a swift runner and climbed rocks with ease. Pan belonged to the retinue of Dionsys.

Pan was also a god of fertility, unbridled male sexuality and carnal desire. He chased nymphs through the forests and mountains in the shape of a goat. Pan was not very liked by the other Greek gods.

Pan and his fellow friends & family play a vital role in the fairy realm. His youthful and rowdy ways sometimes gave him the reputation of a fowl creature. Pan is actually quite loving and full of passion towards the females. He will go to any extent to woo them and make them feel like the beautiful goddesses they are. Pan can usually be spotted around grapes and raspberries. He will often gather the fruits to make a delicious wine to share with the entire community. He is also known for being the 'party animal' of the realm.

Some believe Pan and the Fairy realm to be only myth but many others, including myself give the legends more consideration and truth that one might think. Enjoy!

Muscovy Ducks ~ Hatching Babies with Momma

A few days ago our female Muscovy Duck hatched her eggs. Muscovies are a water fowl from South America. They perch in trees, eat bugs, veggies and even meat. For over 3 years we have raised these beautiful water fowl for pets and pest control. They skim the shallow water and eat the mosquitoes, search the organic gardens for horned worms and rotten veggies. They are a delight to have around!

We have one male and female named Prince & Princess. The red crunckle around Prince is normal as is the curved beak. The more red the better the male appeals to the female. Prince is the spawn of King. King was a 30+ pound Muscovy that made his way about 4 miles down the road to another farm with female muscovies. He is living happily there and no one seems to mind. Prince loves to catch cherry tomatoes in his mouth and he loves to follow you around the property shaking his tail like he was a dog.

The muscovies are very interactive and involved with each other and the process of the babies hatching. We knew when they were close becasue both ducks gathered around the nest eagerly awaiting the new life. Out of 14 eggs all but 1 hatched. We have 13 adorable babies!

I've studied the habits of the Muscovy ducks these past several years and can tell you just about anything. I visit and interact with them daily. They make fantastic companions and feathered friends! Often they will perch in various areas of the property giving a neat and unique feel to the land. I hope to someday write a book about life with Muscovy Ducks and raising them. Their history is fascinating and they were even used in one of the World Wars to spy on the enemy. They are extremely intelligent birds!

Life with Muscovy Ducks is simply wonderful! We will be taking two or three of them with us when we move in the next few weeks. The rest of the babies will need to be adopted out.
Many of the baby ducks will change color to all white, white & black and some will stay brown like this momma duck. We have had solid white females in the past with all blue eyes. They are a stunning creature.

So how do we tell a male from a female? In about 2 to 3 weeks the babies will be large enough to see who has fat wide legs and who has delicate legs. This is how we have always found out the sex of each duck and it has been 100% accurate.

Hope you all enjoyed the babies hatching. We feel fortunate to have such wonderful creatures as friends and part of our family! Several of these ducks will be available soon on the Animal Adoption page of the Giving Earth website.

The law of Love & Attraction are in your forecast this week. Either a new love or a renewed sense of passion are in order. If you are feeling alone then don't fret on what you are lacking. Focus on your desires becasue you are worth everything you can manifest and dream of. Don't lack in your life becasue someone else says you have unrealistic goals or views. You are the creator of your own destiny.

The current moon phase is in sync with drawing in a new or rekindling a relationship or love. In some cases this may not be a new person but a rekindled relationship that you are already in. The sparks will fly in a positive way early this week and throughout the middle. In other cases and for some of the readers this means you have a special someone right around the corner. Don't turn a blind eye to the gifts right in front of you or those new outings you are about to take. Skepticism is not your friend at the moment. Place your worries and troubles aside to allow this new friendship to develop and bloom into a stronger, passionate and loving manner. You are about to see and experience a more meaningful relationship than you ever thought possible.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Now is the ideal time for any magic and light working practices. The waxing crescent moon offers us a valuable time to draw what we desire toward us. This is especially effective right now with relationships, arousal and passion as mentioned above.

Another things you can do is try carrying a piece of Rhodochrosite (also known as Inca Rose Stone, Raspberry Spar, Manganese Spar). Rhodochrosite comes in a variety of shades from bright red to soft shades of pink, and opaque forms with swirling patterns. Rhodochrosite is an excellent conductor of energy. This beautiful tumbled stone is excellent for communication in a relationship. It is also known to stimulate compassion and gives off an overwhelming feeling of love.

Your Mission for this week:

Be closer than you thought possible to those around you. Many of your close friends and family or even a potential partner are not sure how you are feeling lately. Your miscommunication or lack of it has many feeling boggled. Try not to continue to feel down n your self or on a certain situation that is really out of your control or hands. Work on your communication skills and how you come across to others. Treat yourself to a deep meditation and connect with your subconscious self. Remember not to allow yourself to become over melodramatic in any situation. You are loved by all those around you, just don't take them for granted.

Upon my own recent emotional & physical battles I felt it necessary to contact the ancestors and ancient ones for advice. During deep thought & meditation I received the following message:

A battle you feel you are fighting. Alone you are not as we all march along. We are the armored men and women of the past. We hold our mighty sword to heed this battle at last. Strength and Will through it all, is what your soul must use to fight. Once your battle is won you will begin new flight. Your victory is close to home and you will win this without doubt. No longer alone should you feel. We are all here to aid while you heal.

Water Ritual and Meditation to Cleanse your Spirit/Soul

I have a small meditation for you that I have created to cleanse yourself during the new moon This cleansing/meditation allows you to project positive vibes towards others and the universe as a whole. It will also aid in renewing your outlook on situations or circumstances. As the moon cycles so do we. It is time for your rebirth just as the moon, planets and everything must cycle so do you.

This meditation/ritual is sweet, simple and short. I honestly believe there is no excuse for not practicing in your own self healing and love, let alone transmitting it to others. Time is what you perceive it to be, saying you don't have the time says you are selfish and not only do you not love yourself, but you have lost your universal love and connection for others. There are no excuses in the eyes and heart of the universe. It is your choice to to cleanse your soul/spirit and overall state of being. It is also your choice to ignore your physical, emotional and spiritual self. The choice is always yours.

Rainbow Tree's Water Cleansing Meditation:

What you will need:
Your naked body
a shower
towels

Place yourself in a warm shower. You are to do a visualization while in the shower. Standing away from the water so your head is leaning back, let the water droplets fall upon you. Visualize each drop of water as illuminating light being absorbed into your body. Concentrate on each droplet of water being packed full of affirmative words 'love' & 'gratitude'. Each time a droplet touches you the love and gratitude is released into your body. Allow the droplets to say the worlds 'healthy' & 'honest', then 'compassion'. Know deep down in your core of existence you are absorbing these positive affirmations. As each one touches you, see how the water from the ocean is flowing through the lakes, rivers and streams and into your home, pipes and down upon you from the very shower faucet you are standing under. Feel the connection of the water to you. You can not survive with out this water. You drink it, cook with it, bath in it. You are made up mostly of water as is the Earth that we call our mother. Feel your connection to her. Continue to absorb the positive vibrations the water is pouring over your entire body. Face the shower faucet where the water is spraying from. See the droplets and their reflections. Feel the comfort of the warmth throughout your body. Continue to picture these drops of water exploding on to your body with these healing powers. The water is filling you with love and compassion for your self and all life that is connected to you. Close your eyes and allow the water to cleanse your face and eye lids. It is washing away all your negative thoughts, physical ailments and illnesses. You will not allow negative thoughts or concerns to consume you at this time. When you feel fully rejuvenated as though you are stress free and could take on the world... then your meditation is finished. Standing in the shower thinking of the stuff gone wrong will only allow you to absorb those negative thoughts. It is important to let it be, release what is no longer needed or wanted and allow new to develop.

When you are finished, accept yourself by standing there as you are in the shower, fully nude. This is how your were born into this world. You are beautiful both inside and out. The beauty people see doesn't come from your physical appearance it comes from the way you show them and portray who you truly are. Your beauty comes from your actions towards yourself and others. We've always had the choice to do what feels right in our heart or ignore and dismiss it. It is and always will be your choice, no one else can do or change it for you.

After your meditation is over think hard about how fortunate you really are. You live in a home that provides you with clean, warm running water. You are blessed to have this essential necessity.To many around the globe this is not handy or convenient. Do not take for granted what others lack. We are fortunate to have this clean wonderful element available.

There is a good chance you've been having detailed dreams recently. The past few nights may have been interrupted by you suddenly awakening in the middle of the night or the wee hours of the morning. There are bits of information that you can't remember upon awakening but throughout the day you seem to be recalling some of the images or thoughts. You are experiencing something similar to a matrix affect. Currently you are conscious in this world or dimension but part of your mind is recalling and still living in your dream state or other world/dimension. Maybe the best way to describe it for some of you is an observer mode or where you feel like you aren't really you and you are observing your surroundings. For others this is similar to an out of body experience and that is exactly what it is just not in full measure. All of his is very common and you are simply walking and seeing in more than one dimension or world.

Most folks wouldn't even recognize this or they would chuck it off as lack of sleep, coming down with some illness or they may even pop a few pharmaceuticals or sleeping aids to release the experience. I highly discourage any type of blocking. You are finally beginning your journey that you have been seeking for so very long. There is nothing wrong with you or what is happening. You are simply evolving and having your prayers answered. Be open to the insight you are receiving. If your dreams seem negative, try deep meditation to see the source. Many times it is only us that deems the dreams as a nightmare or negative. We have been programmed by society and histories standards to what is considered beautiful and/or ugly.

Try sleeping with a cleansed crystal or stone for a few nights. Preferably rose quartz to aid in an overall loving and safe feeling.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Any magical or light work this week should be done now but none should be done on the 22nd and 23rd. The moon will be in a void and not visible for you to see. At this time it is requested you only leave gifts for the elementals (fairies & friends). Any magic work besides that to ward of negativity or self cleansing shall not be done at this time. It is time for you to relax and honor your sacred self.

On Sunday, May 24th the Moon is entirely New at 8:11 am (EST). Anytime in this 24 hour period you may wish to do a New Moon Blessing. This blessing can be done in or outdoors.

During a New Moon it is a perfect time to plan or begin creating your own personal Book of Shadows to pass down for generations to come. I have many of these that I have created. A nice book or journal that allows you to keep track of blessings, spells, natural remedies, dreams, etc is perfect to write in and look back upon to reflect on. Almost everything you read on my blog is from one or more of my personal Book of Shadows. You may also want to consider building a Moon Garden or adding to your already created Moon Garden.

As promised here is a new drawing from the Fairy Realm. See the latest post: Interacting with the Fairy Realm & Fairies for a better understanding and a vast amount of information about their Magical Realm and plants.

The above image is of the flower called 'Weeping Damsel'. This gorgeous trumpet like flower is highly scented and provides an abundance of sweet nectar for the fairies, butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. Many of the fairies gather honey created specifically from the nectar of the Weeping Damsel. The honey is then used as medicine for such things as easing a fairy child's cough or sore throat from environmental allergies (man made of course). The honey is also used a natural sweetener for many dishes and drinks. I would love to try one of their honey meads made with this flower!

From the Fairy Realm ~ Interacting with Fairies

Dancing Fire Fairy

I love all elemental creatures in this universe. Since a child I have always had a strong bond with the Fairy Folk and their Magical Realm. Around the age of four is when I first began to speak with them. I had seen them before but there was no verbal conversations, only giggles and silly child like games. When I was alone outside I would begin to hear their voices and see little bright flashes of light whoosh back and fourth and around and about. It was at this time I made a promise to them to do no harm in their realm. I was asked to be a messenger between their world and ours. When the promise and agreement was made I gifted with their sight. This allowed me to fully see their world but I could still walk in ours as well.

They are here, all around us. Many times you look right past them becasue they have cloaked their homes, gardens and cities for protection and out of fear. The fairy realm has begun to grow week from negative thoughts, pollution, greed and unconscious actions. The time for me to do more than listen and learn in their realm has come. I have been instructed for the past couple of years to share their messages. I do this in many forms, one of them being the oracle messages from fairies I post on this very blog. All the organic gardening and sustainable living my immediate family has done has been for the planet as a whole but it was requested originally by the fairy folk themselves. The fairies have come to many with their messages. They have been the care takers of Mother Earth for thousands of years.

Recently the fairies have allowed me to draw some of the beauty that thrives in their realm. As we are facing extinction of many of our plants and wildlife so does the fairy realm. They would like to show those of you that can not yet see the realm what beauty it beholds. This is a reminder of what will be lost in all dimensions if we continue to allow the pollution and negativity. The past couple of months I have been shown specific treasured items from the fairy realm to share with you. I am to share many more of these whimsical images of their reality and world in the upcoming months and days.

I am to ask of you and make a reminder that if you are fortunate enough to come across an uncloaked realm do not take any items or pose a threat. Leave a treat or gift for the elemental care takers of this magnificent world and her inhabitants.

Often I leave gifts for the fairies at my home and even at nature preserves and parks. The fairies can not tolerate genetically modified food or crops. If you offer them a treat or gift it must be entirely organic and natural, no exceptions. Homemade honey biscuits are a favorite of the fairies. They only require one small biscuit as they are tiny beings. Offer them a couple teaspoons of organic clove honey poured into a rock that has a dip in it. The fairies really wouldn't appreciate a plastic dish or other item left out in their realm. Use what they use such as a hollowed out stump or as I mentioned above a rock that has a shallow bowl like area or ring in the center. The fairies love raw nuts as well and will spice or cook them up to their own tasting. Only raw verses cooked or dry roasted/salted should be given to the fairies. If you have any organic cotton or hemp laying around your home, feel free to make blankets in six by three inch rectangles. This is perfect for the fairies to use as blankets or if they want to sew a new article of clothing. If you want to leave the best gift of all, plant an heirloom fruit tree on your property. Create offerings under the tree when it is in full bloom and when the fruit begins to ripen. This is when the fairies are around the tree more than any other time.

If any thoughts of capturing a fairy arise in your mind they can and will most likely leave the area. Even though I have been allowed to draw items from their realm, I am not permitted to draw the fairies themselves. I was once honored by the Fire Fairies and becasue I am a fire sign they gave me permission and subconsciously one was caught on film dancing above our fire.

I can tell you that one reason many of the fairies won't allow drawings of them is becasue of the many different elemental qualities and looks to them. It would take an eternity to draw all the elementals. Secondly, becasue of their looks some of the elementals might be considered 'different' because of what many have been taught by some religions. Each element in our world has a fairy or sprite/diva clan that's the guardian and caretaker of that element. For example there are water divas, maple tree fairies, grass sprites, fire fairies, apple blossom fairies, etc. You get the idea. Society would consider only some beautiful and others that are different might be judge as scary only becasue they appear with these different elemental qualities.

It has been instructed that I am to the best of my abilities to answer any questions you may have about the fairies or their realm. I have been asked not to give their names, or exact locations of any known realms/dwellings. As requested by them I will continue to draw and post their sacred plants, friends & elements from their realms.

The one message that is always stronger than any other from the frairies: Love all creation and existence as your universal brother and sister.

These are one of the most important blooming flowers in all the fairy realms. They provide the fairies and all flying creatures (butterflies and dragonflies too) with tea, tinctures, remedies and much more. This plant is known as 'Infrodisiam' in the fairy realm.

Called 'Singing Luna' to the Fairies. This stunning and extremely full flower blooms only when there is more than half of an illuminated moon. Anything less and the flower can not bloom. This beauty usually blooms for approx. 2 weeks every month. The end of the petals seem to glow when the moonlight reflects of the flower.
Upon one of the castle walls in a large city cloaked by Wild Morning Glories was this large piece of Fairy Art. I did my best to portray their image with my colored pencils. I was told each curve and curl streaming from the feather had different meaning, almost calender like. Below the feather was ancient and sacred script.

During the Spring time the fairies celebrate fertility and abundance. There was quite a ceremony in the background as these two butterflies did a seductive dance around the 'Infrodisiam' flower. The hearts represent the love and intense energy you could see and feel as they danced. The flower became their bed and place of commitment to one another.

Our impact on this planet is astonishing so we must be careful and conscious with all our actions. We are part of a much bigger world than most of us currently see. Please open your minds, eyes and hearts for a universal healing and connection that awaits.

Oracle Message from the Fairy Realm: Family, Children and Parents

From time to time the Fairy folk feel a need to relay a message for those that are open to listening. When needed or as requested from the fairy realm, an oracle reading with the Fairies is done to receive their guidance and thoughts. I do this for myself and anyone else who wants to listen or read. Their messages always resonates with many around the globe.

The message received this reading is:
"Family, Children and Parents"

The fairies understand the importance and unlimited value family units offer. A fairy family never allows hurt feelings to fester or manifest. Any misunderstandings or issues are immediately discussed by sharing their honest feelings with one another.

The fairy realm is urging you to face up to any ill feelings you may have with a family member. Apply all aspects of your human self and spiritual self to aid in the healing. When you allow this, a positive change will occur for you. It is predicted in the fairy realm that an unexpected occurrence will allow for a happy outcome between you and this member of family.

This message may also indicate and suggest that someone in your family is soon to be wed or they are with child. Meaning you are about to receive a new member to your family. It is possible it could even signify the return of a family member with whom you have lost contact with for quite some time.

These changes are coming to you gently on the wings of the fairies. When the fairies bring such exceptional gifts it can only mean you will derive enjoyment from the gift or situation. Know that you are safe, loved & protected at all times.

The negativity around you and the emotions running on empty are a bit overwhelming. Chances are you are crying at the drop of a dime or your temper is getting the best of you. You are not alone in the excessive emotional state you are experiencing.

Many of us are finding it difficult to focus on what we call the normality of our life. Maybe this is becasue the 'normal' is in need of changing. If you are experiencing the same emotions or outbursts over and over again then the pattern has to be changed. It is up to you to change this, no one can do it for you. Give yourself a little 'me' time each and everyday. Reevaluate your current emotional state. See what it is you want to change and then change it. Focus on the positive verses the negative and emphasize that you are receiving and feel an abundance of gratitude around you.

We tend to let the words or actions of others create who we are. We take things seriously when they shouldn't be or we read more into a snide or even comical remark or gesture. If there is something that was said or done that is bothering you, then it is up to you to bring it to the surface and solve the problem/issue. There may be no problem or issue in the eyes of others. It may simply be how you are taking things personally becasue of your current emotional state of being.

By the middle of the week things will begin to look a little brighter but you must enable this to happen. Stop putting off what needs to be done and do not under any circumstances reflect negative thoughts or gestures upon your emotional or physical self. You must create who you are physically, emotionally and spiritually. Be happy with you, after all you were created this way for reason. You are unique, an individual and you are loved. Walk with your head held high, show your natural beauty and know you are a magnificent creature on the earth. You are part of a much bigger picture than you are currently allowing yourself to see.

In a small glass dish blend the following pure essential oils together:
1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil or other light base blending oil
3 drops of sandalwood oil
3 drops sage oil
3 drops bergamot oil
Blend oils together and place in an aromatherapy lamp. Sit within a foot or two from the oil and make yourself comfortable. Close your eyes and begin some deep breathing. In your head, count to three as you inhale deeply through your nose. Exhale through your mouth on the count of six. As you are doing this visualize specks of pure bright white energy particles being absorbed into every organism of your body through your nose. When you exhale visualize the particles for a short time coming out as black matter that is the negativity. As you continue to breath and exhale, visualize the matter being released as getting lighter and lighter until it is coming out the same as the energy being inhaled. Once you begin to smell the aroma repeat the following aloud three or more times:
All I want to see may now come visit me.
I am ready to be shown all my existing creativity.
Hold this vision so I may always see.
Invoke the imagination I was meant to see.
It is now so mote it be.

Things have been a little rough here at our home and farm but I hope they will soon begin to look up. We are in the final stages of preparing to make the big move back home with my mom since my dad unexpectedly passed away. It seems I have been battling with my own personal 'demons' for the past few weeks. I had to do some deep visualizing and ask for help from the ancestors to avoid what felt like a nervous breakdown. While sitting on the couch the other night before bed, I fell asleep. The dream/vision was quick and simple. I was in a foreign country, desert like surroundings. I was being stoned to death simply becasue I was an opinionated woman that did not conform to fundamentally male dominated religious standards. After this vision I stopped complaining that we are using coolers for our food in place of a broken fridge. Instead of being angry at the world for losing our home, Tom being denied unemployment and us having zero income since February, I decided those things were ok. They weren't killing me. Yes, bluntly put it does suck. I have my health back after 6 years of being in and out of the hospital and a frail 96 pounds. I currently have this roof over my head and when we leave I will have someone else's, but it is still a roof and a home with running water and electricity. These are things I have temperately done without before becasue of recent circumstances. I'll have my days and emotional outbursts. Who wouldn't with so much going on? At least I know that we'll will manage and make it through. I have my husband, my daughter, my mom, my heath and a place to go. Isn't that all we really need anyway?

Since we have been packing more, I can't believe the amount of other 'stuff' we have come across. Enough stuff to have another moving sale! I guess that's what happens when you begin to simplify and prepare to go from a 2,300 square foot home down to two bedrooms of someones upstairs and a shared bathroom. I haven't had nor really been able to sweep the floors in a week or so. You can imagine with dogs and half a dozen or so kitty cats. Ug, I can't believe I just shared that. Reality hurts sometimes I guess. ;-) I still have to find homes for all but 2 of the kitty cats. I had an adoption page on my website but since it is being reconstructed becasue of the move, I haven't had a change to revamp and reestablish that particular part. If you live in Ohio and want to adopt a beautiful furry friend, let me know!

Speaking of my website... During the day when I am taking a break or struggling with a nicotine fit (officially been 29 days since I quit smoking tobacco) I sit here at the computer and catch up on some online work. I was really excited about all the updates on my website so I hope all of you get a chance to visit the Giving Earth and see how far Ive come with it.

Someday I will add a section with my clay and pottery items. I received 25 pounds of earth clay from a friend for my birthday in April. I do love to rub my fingers in the damp cool clay. i find it therapeutic and meditative. I can get lost for hours just shaping and reshaping to only end up with nothing but the clay going back in the bag at the end.

Alone I stand in these woods.
Nothing but silence from the creatures that feel the shared sorrow.
We grieve for the loss of the woodsman.

Feeling unsure of what tomorrow may bring.

The full moon of May is also known as the Flower Moon. April brings us much rain that produce soggy and wet soil. This is perfect for the flowers, trees and other plants that begin blooming under the Flower Moon of May.

Commitment issues may be rising but not in the normal manner or fashion you would expect. This issue is now in your hands. Decide what and/or who it is that you are committed to. Your scattered thoughts are most likely interfering with your subconscious and inner gut instincts. It is you that is usually the committed one in a relationship, event or situation. Now the roles seemed to be reversed and your lack of commitment not just to yourself but to others seems to be interfering with your overall state of being. Now is the time to focus on the commitments with spirit and love. Allow them to live and be in perfect harmony. This will ease your emotions, drifting thoughts and issues of concern.

You are urged to meditate daily, even if it's a minimal 5 to 15 minutes. You need this 'you' time to deeply breath in the positive energy and exhale the negative. Your emotional and physical self need a daily time out where you can be one with you and spirit. Call upon your ancestors and past loved ones to aid in your situation or experience. They are always there when you ask for their assistance. Though we don't always get an immediate response, they are there always at your side like an emotional warrior destroying your pain and anger. They are the wings that protect us from harm.

Of course the upcoming full moon is always the perfect time to cleanse your stones, crystals and other magical and light working devices. As I always mention, don't forget about the strongest and most important tool you have....you!

The cosmic voice is seeking a more positive approach to your practices. Please do not affirm or dwell on or in the negative. Many religious blessings start off with how poorly shaped or misguided we are. They portray the planet as dark, ill and dis-eased instead of affirming it is full of love, kindness and gratitude. It's time to rethink the way you carryout your magical and light work to others and the universe. For years I have personally done magical work from all aspects and religions but have changed their wording or added my own uniqueness to portray a more positive and productive ritual and outcome. Many are doing this after seeing the recent scientific facts and evidence produced from Dr. Masaru Emoto and others about the effects positive and negative affirmations have on water. We as humans and the planet are primarily made of this element so we too must factor in the overall effect.

As strange as it may sound to some of you, your mission this week is to bless yourself. A while back I shared a Blessing & Ritual for an Abundant Garden. The ritual can be done and made into a daily supplement as well. All I ask this week is for you to either do the blessing/ritual on at least one living plant you have or use it on yourself. The Past Couple of Weeks: Moving, Selling, Packing and so it goes

Such a busy couple of weeks it has been! We are recuperating from our large moving sale we had on the 17th and 18th. Tom and I spent several days preparing for the sale and packing as we approach the big move up north with family. Since my dad passed so unexpectedly, we are needed with my mom. Plus, we are in a bind ourselves with the housing market and Tom being off of work. I guess it is going how it is supposed to in the grand scheme of things. We look for this move to be temporary. Eventually I would still like to end up in a nice camper or yurt out in the middle of the woods. Who knows, someday maybe Tom & I can build a rustic cabin on a chunk of land somewhere.

The moving sale went fairly well. We sold approx. half of what we had available. The biggest items are the ones that we had high hopes for but as of yet have not sold. Keeping my fingers crossed on the car though! Asking almost a thousand below book value. Tom, being the automotive artist that he is ( www.CustomOhio.com ) placed a beautiful set of painted metallic blue tribal stripes/graphics on the car. His trade is custom painting and I love these graphics he painted on. With graduation time coming we hope some parent will buy the car for their kid. All we are asking is our payoff, so we hope for the best! Same goes for the snowmobile. We already knocked an extra $500 off of it, but there is no snow on the ground and it is considered the wrong time of year to be selling such things. The items we did manage to sell we were extremely thankful for. It provided us with enough cash to make a car and truck payment. No house payment can be made. but we have electric and vehicles for another month. :-) Better than nothing right? I also managed to buy a weeks worth of groceries from the sale. Lucky for us I am a survivor and have been stock piling canned foods for some time.

I saw the funniest thing when we had the moving sale. I tried my hardest to capture a shot but just couldn't get outside fast enough. Where we live their isn't many Amish. Tom and I grew up in Ashland, OH and were used to seeing the buggies everywhere, but here we never see a one. The sale didn't start till noon on Friday but at 7:30 am our driveway was full. Upon wakening and getting out of bed, I heard the clippity clop of horseshoes on the quiet country road. I looked out my window and saw the most unusual thing.... Buggy Surfing! Have you ever seen kids car surf on the roof or windshield, they hand on while resting on their stomach? Well, I saw just the thing only the young Amish gentleman was riding the roof of the buggy. There were blankets on the top and he was hanging on to the rim up front while he laid on his stomach. I laughed so hard and when one of the neighbors that were down comment on seeing it too, I told her that was called Buggy Surfing and she about peed her pants from laughing.

A couple days before the sale my family (hubby & daughter) requested I make a homemade pizza pie. When I cook, most of the time it is entirely from scratch. My pizzas are always this way, including my homemade sauce! For once I actually documented with pictures how I do it. I figure later this week or next I will post a detailed blog with my personal recipes. :-)

I've been trying to keep up with just about everything. It hasn't been easy mind you. The weekly Lunar Readings & Magical Attributes are a little lagging in their date. Though they are usually still weekly. The Oracle Messages from the Fairies come when the fairies have a message. Most times this is weekly but not always. Sometimes the fairies only have a message once or twice a month that I am supposed to share. The fairies aren't too happy that we are laving this ground. They fear someone not as environmentally friendly may reside here in the future. They cry about the heirloom concord grapes, 150+ year old Mulberry tree and cherry bushes and the stream that runs the length of the property. They will miss the organic goodies left in the garden for them and the sweet milk and honey biscuits I set out in the summer evenings so they may enjoy a sweet treat. I've asked several of them to join us on our move and a few have agreed. Many of them can not leave this property for they are the original care takers of the plentiful fruits. I must respect that balance they have found and abide by their terms of doing no harm if I am to receive their gifts of knowledge and company on this journey.

A week or two ago I received a message from the fairies about bad habits. I took it upon myself to finally after 18 years of tobacco smoking to quit once and for all! For years now I had commit to only smoking the certified organic tobacco rolled in flax seed papers. I figured if I must smoke at least do it without the pesticides and chemicals. I honestly hadn't counted the years I had smoked till it was time I decided once and for all to give it up. I didn't like the feeling of control it had placed upon me. I also couldn't afford to physically buy the tobacco any longer so it made the perfect time. Today is officially my 16th day of being tobacco free! I haven't eaten my young like an animal in the wild or killed anyone so I wold say I am doing pretty well with it. My nic fits only come about 3 times a day now and can be subsided with a cup of coffee or some intense gum chewing. I am very proud of myself for this commitment and life changing event. I can already see and feel some physical and emotional improvements on my life and health in general. I'll give myself a big old pat on the back. LOL No one has really said congrats to me. I think most of them feel I am probably sneaking or that I'll go back to it soon, but I can swear on my life no tobacco in 16 days! I have no plans, desire or anything to start up again. Sure it is hard at times when one of those fits kicks in. They do subside and grow shorter each time. :-) I can now look at someone else smoking and not cringe that I don't have one in my hand as well. This is a beautiful sign and the beginning to something wonderful! I'll have to get a picture of the 'tobacco free' me. ;-)

The newest news is I am currently revamping the Giving Earth website. Since we are leaving our farm behind, there is much need to change the website around. I am giving the site a totally different feel! I believe you will all love it! There you have it. I think I have pretty much updated all that I can at this time. Our Earth Day was actually spent indoors because of the weather. However, those that know us know that Earth Day is literally everyday for us! I miss my gardens like crazy! With the move and relocation/circumstances, I have no organic garden or baby seedlings to love on yet. I miss bare feet in the mud!

Despite the hard things and missing my dad, all is okay. We are alive and keeping as positive of views as humanly possible. I'm trying my hardest to expect the best even under these crazy circumstances and loss of almost everything. Tom is manifesting his dreams and I am more than happy to project my thoughts there with him. What ever it takes. ;-)

We met some great people at our sale. Some of them lived close by. I regret not knowing these people earlier and involving them in our social network. Everything for a reason though so maybe something else is to come..... Something grand!

Abundant Garden Blessing & Ritual

Time to plan or create your Garden, Moon Garden or seedlings! If gardening is your thing then chances are you have already started your seedlings or have plans on purchasing them soon. Either way now is a fantastic time to charge and bless your water and provide them with affirmations. If you don't have any form of a garden, you can apply this Abundant Garden Blessing & Ritual to any plants indoor or out that you water.

Abundant Garden Blessing & Ritual

Using 'charged' or 'blessed' water is quite simple. Many of us magic doers have a collection of crystals and tumbled stones. Make sure you use only those that are charged in a full moon. You can use the water directly or if it has set for a long amount of time you can dilute it.

Gather a pointed quartz crystal, as clear as you can find and a pointed rose quartz. Make sure the crystals are clean of any dirt or dust before you place them in your jar. Fill a clear gallon jar (preferably glass) almost full of water. The water should either be from a spring or ran through some form of reverse osmosis. No tap or city water containing fluoride or chlorine should be used.
Take a blank sheet of paper and use crayons with the colors of green, blue, yellow and red. Fold and tare the paper into 8 pieces, do not cut with scissors.
Write each of the following affirmations on one of the pieces of paper. Be decorative if you want and add vines, flowers, symbols and shapes. Affirmations to use: Love, Grow, Thank You, Abundance, Healthy, Plentiful, Gratitude, Nourished.
Take a piece of clear tape and stick the affirmations around the jar so that they face the water and crystals inside.
Place jar in a cool, dark and quiet area. A basement, back of the refrigerator or kitchen pantry work well.
Allow the jar to remain in its location for a minimum of 48 hours. It can stay there for several months or until needed. For every week your water sets you can dilute it buy 1 part. Example: 1 part charged water and one part regular water. If the water has sat for 10 weeks then use 1 part charged water to 10 parts regular water. This is the ideal use for larger gardens or greenhouses.

Note: The above ritual can be used for a Dietary Supplement as well. Follow the same process but change the affirmations to your situation. For heath issues use the following 8 affirmations: Love, Thank You, Healthy, Relief, Gratitude, Longevity, Strength & Renewal. Drink up to 1 oz per day.

There is a good chance your emotions have been running high. You may personally feel like a vehicle running on or close to empty. You can't keep going like this or putting your physical and emotional self through the unneeded negativity and turmoil. The time we have in our physical shell is extremely limited in the grand scheme of the universe. We are only here physically for a blink of an eye. Like a shooting star in the night sky we too will soon leave our familiar area to morph into something different.

The time for renewal of thoughts, lifestyles and your spiritual state of being is now. You are urged to let go of the barriers that you or others have manifested. You can not fight nor change the universal flow of things. There is a certain balance that must be obtained and currently in your life you have fought against this natural flow. This is likely the cause of your dismay, emotional and physical stress or illness. The balance needs to be fully restored within your life and all aspects of it.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Let your creative thoughts manifest one of your desires or dreams. Take on a new activity such as playing with clay, painting on canvas or even gardening, watching the clouds in the grass, hiking or something that relaxes your mind and lets your imagination flow freely.

Pay homage to the new moon this week. Lest we forget the vital role the lunar phases have upon earth and its inhabitants. Without the sun and moon we as humans would cease to exist. Let us be thankful for these gifts of abundance and beauty.

There are many on this planet who choose to make Earth Day an everyday event. These are many of the new rainbow warriors for tomorrow. We should heed their cause, follow a path of love, life and beauty. Move forward by doing no harm in all that we do.

Plant Love & Grow Peace. Know that you are the answer we have been seeking in our prayers and thoughts. Love all creation; furry, four legged and feathered, green and shaded, tall and stout and even those hard to see. They are your universal family, sisters and brothers. All of us living together on one planet we call our Mother Earth.

I wish for you a wonderful Earth Day. May this day remind you of the abundance that has been bestowed upon us. We are the caregivers of our mother and universal family members. Let us make everyday a conscious one.

Oracle Message from the Fairy Realm 4/14/09

From time to time the Fairy folk feel a need to speak a message for those that want to listen. Each week, sometimes less or as requested from the magical realms, I do an Oracle Reading with the Fairies to ask their guidance and opinions on life in general. I do this for myself and anyone else who wants to listen or read. Their messages is alway resonated with many around the globe.

The message received this week is: "Magic of Nature".

Many times when you feel down, depressed or drained of energy without knowing why, it is becasue you are disconnected from Mother Earth. When we don't connect with Mother Earth on a regular basis she too feels distraught. Nature has an abundance of gifts. Many of us see them as flowers, birds, trees and so on. Mother Nature also offers us her gifts of imagination, healing energy, valuable and insightful information and ideas.

The fairies urge you to spend a minimum of 5 minutes a day outside with Nature. Walk among the beauty bestowed in front of you and she'll plant ideas and information into your thoughts, like new saplings from a tree. Connect to the cool sod or sand with your bare feet. Close your eyes, breath deeply and visualize your feet becoming roots of a tree. You are burying them firmly and deep into the earth below. Reach your arms to the sky and see them as branches extended and growing with the magnificent rays from the sun. You are surrounded by the magical energy of Nature and the Fairies. Mentally or aloud ask the fairies to help you with any issues you are facing. Slowly open your eyes and look for tiny specs of flickering of fluttering light. This is the first sign the fairies are surrounding you and listening to your projected thoughts.

The fairies feel you should write or verbally aloud repeat the following affirmation daily:
I feel energized, refreshed and loved when I am outside in nature. I love taking care of every living creature, including myself.

Old habits are hard to break but we all have at least one or two of them. The time has come to give up one of your bad habits that causes pain, physical harm or emotional boundaries. We're not talking a new years resolution like losing weight or seeking a new carrier. Sometimes we tend to put others down to boost our own self esteem or we give dominion over those creatures less capable or willing as we are. Maybe you pick at your skin to much or practice some form of self mutilation either physically or emotionally. Is it possible you are being to hard on a family member or child? Do you litter or practice no or little recycling skills? Spending to much time in front of the television or not having a night where family gathers together are bad habits as well. It's time to break one or more of these. It may be something small from nagging the husband on his procrastinating or it may be something large that you have battled with for years. Either way, your spiritual guides/angels and ancestors are urging you to make this change. They are here with you, beside you at all times and ready to support your commitment and decision.

As you begin to let go of your bad habits, start something new or achieve one of your life desires. In many ways you are the creator of your own destiny. You have the choice to live your life as you see fit and not by the means or causes of anyone else. Your guides urge you to do no harm to nature and all creation as you begin your new journeys.

For the Magic Doers & Light Workers:

Mot likely your ambition has been lagging. If you haven't recharged your most important light working tool (that being you) then you must do so before nay magical or light working can be done. Anytime you do any form of magical/light work all your energy is sent and felt by the universal energy. Don't feed those lingering or residual thoughts and energy. This needs to be cleansed away! I can't emphasize enough the importance of this, thus is why I wrote so much about it n last weeks lunar reading. Please heed this advice and cleanse your aura, home and spiritual self.

Your Mission for this week:

Continue with last weeks mission and honor the upcoming Earth Day. To my family, Earth Day is literally everyday. There is not a day that goes by that almost all if not all of our actions are based upon what is best for the planet and humanity as a whole and what literally does 'no harm'. When we use conscious thinking with all that we do, we tend to automatically begin doing no harm as our consciousness picks up on all the universal vibrations. Use your conscious this week and always. Give thought to all the things you do, even the ones considered small or those that you would think 'don't really matter'. It all matters. Everything you do, even on a microscopic level has a ripple effect.
